I love this little guy.
I absolutely love this little guy. Setup was quick and easy—once it’s going, it just takes care of everything on its own. It does an excellent job vacuuming and mopping my wooden floors. The only rug I have is a flat cloth one in the bathroom, and it handles it without any issues. Cleaning performance is impressive—it covers the space thoroughly without missing spots, and the suction power is strong. I keep mine on the medium setting, and it picks everything up just fine. My rabbit isn’t a fan, but I appreciate how well it collects all the loose hair from the floor. I kind of wish Fluffy would hop on for a ride like those cats you see online, but oh well! It moves in what feels like a very organized pattern, doesn’t get lost, and always manages to find its way back to the dock. I only have two minor complaints, and they’re not really about the device itself: 1. The company recommends using only their detergent, which is fine—but for a $500 product, it would’ve been nice to include at least a small sample to fill the reservoir once. 2. It only comes with one bag. I’m not asking for a huge supply, but including a spare would’ve been a thoughtful touch for peace of mind.

Fixed all my want bumps for a Dyson robot vac!
I've only had this unit for less than a week but I'm really loving it (it's name isn't Brad but Tobor for you SiFi move fans). I got it on sale for $199, hard to turn down considering I had major want bumps for the Dyson robot Vac which I don't even know is available in the US but at over $1000, considering I could buy five of these units, want bumps over. I do own two Dyson's; a Ball and the DC35. Both will still be used but less so thanks to this product. Setup was very easy in terms of the hardware and the iPhone application. The first time I tried this vac, I hadn't done a vacuuming with the Dyson for about 2 days. Note that our home is just under 2500 square feet, all tile with a number of low shag throw rugs. I charged the unit over night and let it go in auto mode. It moved all over the house in some random course and I let it run until the little guy ran out of battery. That was over 2 hours. I've enclosed a photo of the dust found; the unit was filled! Easy to clean up and I was pretty happy overall with the job done. But I don't believe the little guy covered every area of the house and I don't know it is fair to expect one unit to do so. Next I tried a different approah. Set the unit in Auto but shut some doors so it is forced to work in a room or two. For example, the master bedroom has a hallway leading to the master bath. On either side of this hallway is a walk in closet and the toilet area. All in all, I suspect 250 or so square feet. I closed the door leading to the rest of the house, set it on auto and gave it an hour to run. This was 2 days after the major house vac with the Dyson Ball. This worked VERY well and the unit was nearly full. Still having batery left (you can see how much on the iPhone app), I placed it into the Kitchen area and again closed off doors so the unit would only vac there and the 'breakfast nook' area. Did a great job there too. So I think this approach of 'spot cleaning' one or two rooms rather than hoping to do the entire house is a good one. I also am amazed how much the unit picked up after only 2 days from using the Dyson Ball. Fact is, the robot can get into areas the Dyson can't and to some degree, vise versa. I don't expect to use this product 100% instead of the other units but I think several times a week, I may set it loose in a room or two and then do a full on Vac with the Dyson Ball once a week after dusting/cleaning. I suffer from allergies and have three dogs so it isn't difficult to see how much each vacuums picks up after only a few days. After I ran the first test mentioned above (whole house on Auto), I used the Dyson Ball the next day after dusting and was surprised to see how little was picked up but then it was only a mater of maybe 12 hours between the two. Tobar has had only two, minor issues getting stuck. One was on a towel on the floor I didn't see. One of the dogs must have knocked it down. It beeped and it was easy to remove the towel. The unit is surprisingly quiet for a vac, the three dogs don't mind it at all. The new puppy (5 months) is fascinated with it. One time it found the puppy's 'pee-pee' pad I forgot to pick up. Again easy to remove and Tobar went off to finish it's job. No issues with carpets and some do have tassels. Does a very good job on carpet; you can see a pattern expected after a vac. Only minor 'issue' as some have reported, is having the unit find it's way home to charging base. Easy enough to pick up and park it for a charge. And now that I'm moving it manually to zoned off rooms, I have to pick it up and place it where I wish anyway. I either let it do the job until it runs out of battery or pick it up and return to home base. Two photo's; one after it's first use (two days after using Dyson Ball); loaded with dirt. 2nd is about 12 hours after using Dyson; not full but still a lot of dust and gunk picked up. Overall I couldn't be happier at this point with the product!

Great Robot Vacuum - Just One Flaw
I bought this against my wife's wishes. She said that we didn't need a robotic vacuum. However, we are both disabled and vacuuming the main level of our house was very tiring on her because of knee problems, and I have back problems. We received the Deebot N79S on the date that it was expected. I promptly opened the package, got the charger station set up, attached the brushes which was very easy to do, downloaded the app, and put the Deebot onto the charger to let it charge to reach full battery strength. I believe the battery might come already charged, but I left it on the charger for 4 hours. When I went to set up the Deebot onto my wifi Orbi system which creates one network name for my entire house, I was unable to connect it on that strong network. I believe this is because of the wifi's 5 Ghz system, and it will only set up on a 2.4 Ghz system. Fortunately, I have a wifi extender that is not part of Orbi that is still connected and I was able to connect my Deebot to that. The Deebot comes with a remote that you can use to get it going, so having the wifi set up is not as important, especially those with no internet. Setting the time on the remote was very easy and that was all that I did with that. It was late at night (I am a night owl), and I pressed the auto button on my Deebot and it started going to town. I watched as the Deebot as it went from area to area. I have hardwood floors, low pile carpet, carpet runners, and linoleum in the downstairs of my house, and the Deebot was able to handle them all. After the Deebot was finished it found itself back to the charging station to start recharging. I can say that Deebot performed very well. All of my carpeted areas were great looking and it cleaned the dust on my hardwoods. When I went to empty the collection bin, it was quite full. It was easy to open and to discard into my trashcan. Some of the spinner brushes had been warped out of shape in the process of maneuvering around objects. It comes with a spare set of brushes, but I left the current ones in because they were not terribly warped. I might change them out after my third vacuuming. I would highly advise that you get the accessory kit with the extra spinning brushes, the filters, and a spare brush roller. I have that on my order list to get this week. Overall, the Deebot works great!! I am giving it 4-stars because of the need to change the spinner brushes more often than you would expect. The spinner brushes are its one flaw. I would highly recommend the Deebot N79S to anyone who hates vacuuming and who does not have high pile, or shag carpets. If you found this review helpful, please click the YES icon. Just to note, I am an Amazon prime customer and I have not been compensated, nor have I been provided a free product in relation to this review. It is my own opinion on the product and may not reflect other's opinions. If after a few months use, and I find that the Deebot is not performing as spectacularly as it did during the first and second vacuuming. I will come back and update my review.

Loved it, but didn't last! Alexa feature didn't work.
Before I delve into the real reason for my 1 star rating (the product didn't last), I wanted to mention that one of the reasons I chose this model was that it was advertised to work with Amazon Alexa. We never could get it working with her, and, as I recall, it had something to do with the type or speed of WiFi we have (some numbers I don't recall), so if that's a feature you're looking for on any type of robot vacuum, I suggest you carefully look into making sure it will be compatible with your specific type of WiFi. We don't have any special kind of WiFi or Internet - just one of the standard choices from Comcast - so I was surprised. Now, for why I cannot recommend this specific robot vacuum: I understand it may seem strange to give 5 stars for all of the individual categories, but a 1 star overall. The reason is that when it worked, it was great, but it only worked for about 14 months. Then, inexplicably, it just stopped, and it was just 2 months after our 1-year warranty period had ended. It would wander briefly away from the base, beep at us, flash red, and then we'd have to carry it back to the base even though it was fully charged. As a family of 5, with 3 kids under the age of 7 when we purchased the robot vacuum, I really thought a machine like this would simplify my life, but didn't have the budget for the more reputable brand. I throughly researched these items through customer reviews and consumer advocate magazines/websites, which lead me to choose this particular brand/item, so I was very disappointed when it proved to be unreliable. I did contact customer service to see if they would make an exception on the warranty, since it was so close to its expiration. While they were great at sending us timely troubleshooting tips to see if we could figure out the problem, it ended up being something that would cost almost as much to repair as to purchase a whole new one and they would not cover it because the warranty period was over. For an item at this price point, I wouldn't expect it to last forever, but definitely a few years. It's also important to note that we were very careful that our children weren't rough with it - we did NOT put the baby on it for rides like you see in many funny home videos. Something more to consider: After it died, I thought I would really miss being able to push a button and relax as my floors were vacuumed, but I ended up with a popular brand of cordless, folding stick vacuum for the same price, which I now prefer. I don't miss tripping over the vacuum and base on the floor (there are specific requirements for where you can put the base so your vacuum doesn't get "lost"/unable to find its way home, so it's not like you can just tuck it away in a corner). My biggest messes would be around and under the dining table because my kids are very messy eaters (we must say "hold over" 20 times per meal and there's still half their meal on their chair and floor and all over the table), and this type of vacuum was not great for that area because of all the chairs and table legs interfering with its path. The stick vacuum I got also easily disassembles into a hand vac, so I can get under the table and chairs easily with the full stick vacuum and then detach the hand vac to quickly clean off the chairs themselves (and sometimes I even vacuum the table before wiping it down). Another issue that might vary among brands and models is that after we lost power once in a storm, we discovered that when the power came back on, the robot would start itself back up and immediately start vacuuming. We discovered this one night when we were being awakened by a beeping sound in the middle of the night because we have very high marble transitions that it sometimes got stuck on - thankfully that was the only issue created by the self-starting. But, if you're like me and your floors aren't always "picked up" and free from miscellaneous children's toys or clothing (a sock here, a forgotten Barbie there), this could've been an even bigger problem when it turned itself on. We don't currently have a pet, but we've also seen horror stories of pets that have had an accident on the floor & then the vacuum has spread (or flung) it all over the house - this could very well happen if the power flickered off and on in the night or while no one was home. We learned we had to unplug it whenever we went away for the weekend or at night whenever there were storms in the forecast, which was kind of a pain. So, before you jump into the robot vacuum cleaner game, really think about what would truly work best for you and your family and whether a robot vacuum really is as convenient as it seems in the long run.

Fantastic vacuum for a great price.
Replacing my i robot S9 which replaced my samsung bot. The X5 D shape pro omni is far greater then the others. It took me 2weeks and 3calls to customer service to get it fine tuned to my expectations. There was nothing wrong with the x5, it was me figuring out how to use the app. Customer service was great and solved my problem each time i called only placed on hold for 3 seconds. I have a 2400 sq ft house. Half carpet an the other half tile and wood floor. I vacuum first then i wash the floors. I use the least amount of water because i have have real hardwood floors. It dose a great job on all. The suction power is set at the highest setting, because wehave a miniture italian grey hound only weighs 16.2 lbs. He sheds year round. Well traind never has gone to the bathroom in the house. Can hold it for over 14 hrs. The avoidence feature works great on his toys, our cords and sneakers. We were really amazed how well it does around chairs and table legs on carpet an tile & Wood. Very quiet on high power. No problem watching tv. Battery last a long time. All in it is a great vacuum. We can set and forget. The price was even better on Amazon under $500.

Best purchase for our home we have ever made!
Honestly, we have never had a vacuum robot before, but this thing has been a game changer. Our Deebot has preformed flawlessly, and it has been a blessing. Having a German Shepherd that sheds constantly, we had to vacuum the whole house every other day to keep our house looking half decent, and mop twice a week or more. I bought the Deebot because of its affordability and great reviews, and it has been the best purchase we have made for our house. We didn’t realize how much time and energy we spent mopping and vacuuming before. Now the Deebot takes care of it all for us, and it has been amazing! I got one for my parents as well. Their robot had a faulty seal that caused it to leak. I contacted the manufacturer, and they promptly sent out a new robot and didn’t even hassle us with returning the faulty unit. We love this little robot (our kids named ours Harold), and we recommend them to everyone!

Quite Good. Not Great. Excellent Value.
First, my particulars: The area on which I use it has 4 average-sized rooms with hardwood floors and one large oriental rug. I have a cat. Ok, down to the review. It's quick and easy to assemble out of the box. Just a couple brushes - less than 5 minutes from opening the box until ready to go. It does say you have to charge it for 4 hours before the first use. You have to tuck rug fringe under the rug and move shoes with shoelaces sticking out from it's path. Cat, dog or child toys or anything small like those all have to be picked up before running, or like any vacuum, it will eat them up and probably destroy both itself and whatever it is munching on. I didn't think about that when I ordered. It really makes the scheduled vacuuming almost impossible to use, since I never know when my cat will pull out one of his toys. Again though, this is likely true with every robot vacuum. Just something to think about if you are thinking about spending more money on a different model that has a more advanced version of the program function. If you have a pet, child or are careless with where you kick off your shoes, that function is 100% worthless. I was somewhat concerned when I purchased it that it wouldn't "know" or create a pattern to it's cleaning because it randomly travels by sensing or bumping into obstacles and then turning. I assumed there had to be places it missed, right? Well, there are. And sometimes it doesn't even make it into the back half of one of my rooms because of a weird angle. It only has a doorway's width to get through and it has to hit it just so because of furniture. That being said, I run it 3 times a week and my floors are always clean all over. So, it's not 100% EACH time, but it's 100% over 3 times in a week. It pauses it's random driving occasionally to switch into an along-the-wall mode, which works great. It doesn't drive off the steps to my basement, but they do warn you to make sure it can recognize the stairs before you let it go unattended. Also, it is about 1cm too tall to fit under my couch and loveseat, which makes me sad, though honestly, there's twelve hundred cat toys under each, so whatever. It also has twice (in my 10-15 uses) gotten itself stuck just barely under the edge of my fridge. I guess what I'm saying in the navigation section of this review is that you can't really leave it entirely unattended. You need to be close enough you can hear it beep when it gets stuck, but the beep is loud enough I can hear it from anywhere in my house. It transitions from hardwood floors to the oriental rug perfectly. The "Return to Base" function on the remote only works when the unit is roughly less than 8 feet from the base. Otherwise, it beeps and continues cleaning never to find it's way home. As far as cleaning power - it's acceptable. The commercials where someone spills like 5 pounds of cat food and a floor-cleaning robot zips along leaving a clean path behind it are simply not happening with this bot. Although I don't know, I'm guessing that doesn't really happen with any of the floor robot vacuums ever. It does clean up most things in it's path on the first pass, and, like I said, used 3 times a week, it keeps my floors very clean - much more clean than I did previously. The Spot Cleaner function where it zips around power-cleaning a roughly 3 foot diameter area is very good! It's nowhere near as noisy as my regular vacuum. It is quiet enough I can still watch TV without changing the volume while it's running. It is close though. The collection bin is quite small. I don't know how it compares to other similarly sized units (and it's probably the same), but you absolutely have to empty it after every use. The first time I used it, I had to empty 3 times on that run alone because it reached places I often missed. It's also a bit of a clusterf*ck trying to empty. The flexible filter sits at just enough of an angle that if you aren't careful, it can be a pain to get back together. It's really the only thing I can think of as a design flaw with this product. I'm getting the hang of it now and it is less of a hassle, though. I'm pleased I bought this. In all ways it almost lives up to my expectations and in many, maybe even most, it exceeds them. It's cheap and it does the job. Fancy folks might want something fancier. I'm not fancy. I just wanted clean floors and to not have to do it myself and this perfectly checks those boxes. Also, I've wanted a robot since I saw Star Wars in 1977 and now I finally have one.

This is so far the best bang for the buck.
Let me set the stage on why a robot vacuum is an essential tool for me by introducing the members of my household, aka the source of the mess. **Subject 1 - My 3-year-old daughter:** Cute, adorable, sweet, a drama llama; she’s everything I could wish for. Despite my wife and I washing her hands 500 times a day, she manages to maintain a pair of sticky, oily hands with a hint of grape juice and cheddar cheese Goldfish. **Subject 2 - White senior rescued Standard Poodle:** The perfect partner in crime to my 3-year-old. While my daughter stamps her little oily hands on my wood floor, my poodle spreads that oil like you spread Miracle Whip on bread. **Subject 3 - Red senior rescued Doberman:** A literal walking pine tree. Oh, don’t be deceived by his thin layer of hair without an undercoat. He drops so many red "pine needles" that if he gets lost in my neighborhood, I could probably retrieve him by following his trail of hairs. The fact that he sheds so much yet hasn’t gone bald is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. I bought a T20 Omni(the previous generation to the T30S I am reviewing today) last year, used it; was somewhat satisfied with it, and now bought this new T30s so I can move my T20 to my second floor and have my T30s takes care of the 1st floor instead. The purchase has transformed my house chores in a way that I no longer need to vacuum and mop my floor; I can now finally provide undivided attention between listening to my wife and washing dishes. Here are a few points to note. Otherwise, I have no complaint with the T30s Mapping: I can't stress how important mapping is to any new robot vacuum, a good map dictates: a. the machine's obstacle avoidance ability, b. the robot's path algorithm, and c. room division and cleaning The T30S consistently mapped my 1st floor about 2 to 3 times faster than my T20 Omni. Not only that, but I was able to create a fully functional map on the 2nd try. On my T20 Omni, I could get a not-so-perfect map maybe after 8 tries, if I was blessed by the Lord of Light. Mapping Confusion: Both the T30s and the T20 Omni have issues scanning my rear sliding door. The laser penetrates the glass and mistakes my outdoor patio floor for another room; because of this, it creates an open-ended space; this confuses the heck out of the app and makes in-app room division extremely annoying. Here's my fix, I took my daughter's roll of art paper, with the help of blue tape, (which can be purchased from, yours truly "Amazon") created a faux barrier at the laser's height. Cabinet Toe Kick Issue: The T30s is about a quarter of an inch shorter than my T20 Omni. On spec, it doesn’t mean much, but in real life, this makes a world of difference. My T20 Omni’s laser just so happens to be high enough that the laser catches my kitchen’s lowest drawer and thinks it’s a wall; this causes the T20 to altogether skip the edge by the toe kick, which is usually the dirtiest place. The T30s scans the toe kick properly and cleans the floor right up to the toe kick. Edge Cleaning: I am pretty sure my T20 Omni was secretly an animal rights activist, especially toward the ant in my house; it never cleans the edge, and I mean any edge. There was always a 3-inch moat against my wall and furniture, to provide a bike lane for my resident house ants. The T30s, on the other hand, sends its little protruding arm and mops all the way to the edge. Map Lost Issue: In the first 2 months of my T20 Omni’s ownership, the app would lose either the robot’s last location or the entire map for the most ridiculous reasons. - My wifi router had a firmware update and restarted during the night? The map was gone - There was a power outage? The map was gone - My mother-in-law wasn’t having a good day? poof, the map was gone. I could sneeze at my T20 Omni and I bet ya the map would be gone. I give props to Ecovacs for listening to customers’ complaints. I am happy to say they have completely rectified the issue on the T30s. In the last 2 weeks that I have been using my T30s, I’ve had multiple occasions in which I thought it would fall into the map lost loop and thrash my saved map right out the window and it didn’t. It was able to immediately locate itself and get back to the base station. No more, “Houston, we’ve had a problem.” issue. Base Station Water Tank: This is probably the only gripe I have on the T30s; c’mon Ecovacs, how do you go backward on your water tank design? The T20 Omni was equipped with an extremely sturdy water tank with hard clear plastic and a springed lid latch that simply provided confidence. There is a sense of reassurance when the latch clinches to the tank with a mechanical thud, that I can hold the tank by the top handle and not worry about the lid swinging open and pouring the water down my floor. The T30s uses a much softer plastic and the latch is only tension-loaded by the strength of the plastic. Overall: I am extremely happy about the T30s. It strikes the perfect balance between function and price. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone considering a robot vacuum to take a serious look at the T30s.

Amazing Product!! Best 'budget' Robot Vacuum for Home with more than 'budget' like features.
I can’t say enough good things about the ECOVACS DEEBOT N30 Pro Omni! As someone who has tried multiple robot vacuums over the years, I’m genuinely impressed with this one. It’s the latest launch for 2024, and it’s packed with features that make cleaning feel effortless. First off, the 10000Pa suction is a game-changer. It picks up everything—dust, crumbs, pet hair, you name it—without missing a spot. I have both hardwood floors and rugs, and this vacuum switches between them seamlessly, with no issues. The suction power is strong enough to handle the thickest rugs, and it’s surprisingly quiet considering how powerful it is. I also love the ZeroTangle 2.0 Technology. For anyone with long hair or pets, you know how frustrating it can be when hair gets tangled in the brushes. This vacuum has completely eliminated that problem for me. It just keeps going without getting stuck or needing constant maintenance—so convenient! The TruEdge Adaptive Edge Mopping is another standout feature. It mops right up to the edges and corners, which most robot vacuums and mops miss. My baseboards and the areas around my furniture look spotless after every clean. Plus, the Auto-Lift Mopping function is genius—it automatically lifts the mop when it detects carpet, so I don’t have to worry about my rugs getting wet. The mopping performance is excellent, too—my floors are left gleaming without any streaks. One of my favorite things about the N30 Pro Omni is the self-emptying feature. I don’t have to deal with emptying the dustbin every time it cleans, which is a huge time-saver. It just does its thing, and I don’t have to think about it for a couple of weeks! Oh, and the Hot Air-Drying feature is such a nice touch. After mopping, the pads dry quickly, so there’s no lingering moisture or bad smells. It’s all about the little details that make this vacuum and mop combo feel truly high-tech and thoughtful. If you’re in the market for a robot vacuum that does it all—vacuuming, mopping, self-cleaning, and more—this one is definitely worth the investment. It’s efficient, intelligent, and genuinely makes my life easier. Highly recommend!

It does the job! Great price!
Not to smart, but it does the job :-) I actually did not want to buy the smart ones, and I made a good decision. It gets in to all of the rooms, it goes under everything it can, it picks up a lot of dust, so far, its very reliable. I like it! Once in a blue moon stuck behind something, but I have a bunch of things on the floor. Its ease to find with the remote. I recommend it!
