Fun bit of kit, very hard for someone who has no knowledge of programming but full tutorials are given online. Just don’t get stressed

A Robo Car Starter Kit, but Needs the Microbit Board
This is not the sort of gift for an average child, but might be a good way to introduce them into the tech world of programming, so it is better for older kids. There is a lot you can do with the kit, and you can assemble the car, but without the Microbit board, you will not be able to do much with it. I haven't assembled it myself yet, as it was a bit more advanced than I was expecting, and so it will be a project for a rainy day, but I think if you are going to buy it for somebody, then if they don't already have the Microbit board, see if you can stretch to buying both.
