UniorCone Wrench - 1617/2DP

I've cross-posted this review among all of the Unior cone type wrenches that I've purchased (as they are all the same high quailty):Okay, I'll be the first to admit that it's hard to get excited over cone wrenches. But these cone wrenches from Unior are about as close as it gets for me - because I'm a little "pumped up" regarding the high quality of these tools. And I mention this high quality with the experience of owning a complete set of cone wrenches from Park Tools for over a decade. I still use the Park cone wrenches - but wanted an additional set since having two of each size cone wrench allows for much faster and very accurate cone adjustment (using one cone wrench requires a lot of "trial and error" adjustments). When comparing the Unior tools to the Park tools, it is clear that they are both high quailty. But the hardened steel and nicer finish from Unior - along with the upgraded double-dipped grips - easily trumps the quality of the Park wrenches.I discovered the Unior brand after seeing the recommendation from highly-regarded Rivendell bikes - and some other information from Trek and their usage of Unior tools at the Trek Service School. I have a number of different tools from Unior - and have been very satisfied with all of them.

Nice wrench. Tried it immediately, no marks. Dimensions/thickness near optimal for vintage Campagnolo headsets.

good deal for an oddball sized cone wrench... this wrench is a perfect fit for the flats on the muzzle end cap for the Rebel Silencer SOS-22 V2 suppressor (which requires 27mm)... now i don't have to worry about takedown following an extended range session - this wrench is a good addition to the range bag

This is a good tool brand. This particular wrench is well built with plenty of leverage and a soft handle. This tool is perfect for certain bottom bracket nuts!

Curved jaw doesn’t offer as good a fit as Park Tool with semi-hexagonal cutout but still works okay. Hefty steel, PVC covered handle in find-me red.Managed to correctly tighten the 36mm lock nuts on a 1-1/8” Tioga Oversize Threaded Headset.
