This battery box fit my needs perfectly. I needed a battery box to contain the battery, charge controller, power invertor, and switches, for my small solar panel setup. It's sturdy, yet lightweight. The lid fits on securely, yet it is easy to remove. It's easy to carry. It doesn't feel slippery or awkward to pickup and carry. I think that this battery box is a good value. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for this project and I felt like this battery box offered a good compromise between quality and cost.

High quality battery box. NOCO makes great battery chargers and this battery box is the same high quality. I used this outdoors to hold the battery for my electric gate opener.

Mostly good with a couple of “no big deal” issues that keep it from being a 5-star. I really like this battery box. A good quality and good looking box at a good price. True to the group 27 box size and was perfect for our AGM travel trailer battery. I like the small plastic plate that mounts under the box to hold the tie-down strap. The top snaps down nicely, and I believe it will stay in place going down the road, even without its strap. With the lid in place, there is enough room for my battery switch inside the lid… see pic. … Now the cons… The box was a little narrow to fully fit the channels on our trailer. Of course, that may also be the trailer manufacturer that may have been inconsistent when building the trailer. My MAIN gripe are the included screws. The self-tapping screws are a joke. The usual VERY POOR Chinese made steel that almost always strip out and would barely drill into hot butter. I even drilled pilot holes for them anticipating the lousy screws. I managed to get a couple drilled in but had to get quality hex head self-tapping screws from my shop to complete the install.

Perfect fit and just what I needed. Had to remove my old double box to install these 2 to fit new goup 27 batteries. Just had to drill 4 new holes in the brace on the trailer and mount with hardware I bought separately. Durable and secure.

Used this battery box to hold a 12v LiFePro deep cycle battery on a mobile roof washing cart. It’s well constructed and the snap on lid is very handy. My application was in a confined space but I soon found out that the measurements provided are NOT accurate (box dimensions are larger than stated). I returned a Group 31 and Group 27 boxes due to inaccurate descriptions. The Group 24 did fit and I’m very happy with quality vs price. Best quality/features for my money. Would buy again from this seller. Edited: My review above is for a Group 24 box which I did use. The Group 27 & 31 boxes had the incorrect measurements in their description. All sizes are quality materials and are well designed!

Amazing, so nice to not have to rely on the stupid strap just to keep the lid on in a little aluminum boat with a trolling motor. The lid snaps on firmly, but can still be opened easily, and enough room inside for a small Noco maintainer/charger, even with a large group 27 battery in it.
