Having already purchased a set of Q Acoustics 3020i, I had no hesitation in purchasing this centre speaker. Superb sound & build quality

I have the Q Acoustics 3020i's as front speakers but need to fill in dialogue. Wow what a difference. Bass is outstanding don't really need the sub working. Very clear mids and highs. Separates the audio from front speakers very well. The only thing to remember is this is a large speaker. Great price for a quality product.

I've slowly built up my AV rig in a converted garage home cinema. The first incarnation used Mordaunt Short Genie's (which I still use as my surrounds) and I've now replaced all front speakers with Q Acoustics 3000 Series. This centre speaker was the last one implemented of the batch and it certainly lives up to the quality of the 3050i floorstanders. Speech is crystal clear on this, at first a little bass heavy but after some tweaking on my AV Receiver its now perfect. Q also provide a speaker bung for the rear port to control this the old fashioned way. Front grill is magnetic and overall build quality is fantastic. Its a big speaker as you can see from the images so choose your space carefully. I get the impression it will handle almost anything I chuck at it so Q has been a good choice for me (replacing a Wharfedale setup I could never get on with). Definitely recommended.

Not only is the sound clear and crisp it can give out defined bass. Also looks lovely in walnut with the magnetic cover off. Can go very loud without any distortion whatsoever due to the extra strengthening on the I model

Great build and sound. Needed a few solid days to loosen up. I actually prefer these to my much more expensive bowers due to them being easier to drive and with very little boost in the center channel. One thing that made a huge difference is crossing them over at 100hz or above and using the supplied foam port bung which really cleaned up the sound as it doesn't like being near units or walls etc with the lower frequencies peaking and blurring the vocals and imagining. I did boost the treble to begin with on the eq but as they wore in I have noticed myself gradually lowering it to almost 0db. All in all a great sounding speaker.

Ich habe mein ganzes Soundsystem mit Q-Acoustics ausgestattet (Außer dem Subwoofer) und bin sehr zufrieden, was die Optik angeht. Der Klang ist auch gut für die Größe, hat aber natürlich nicht die Breite und das Volumen (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes) von größeren Center-Speakern für die Stimmenwiedergabe in Film und Musik. Trotzdem eine Preis-Leistungs Empfehlung.

I've auditioned multiple center channel speakers by different American manufacturers. This British beauty is by far the best sounding speaker under $500. I purchased the 3090Ci's based on reviews of the 3050i's (which I also purchased). The 3090Ci's really shine when listening to music. Reproducing the bass lines from Lou Reed's "Walk on the wild side" with ease. Nylon and steel string guitar sounds amazing, and cymbals and high-hat really pop. I now wish I'd replaced my Definitive Technology ProCenter 1000 speaker long ago. Home theater buyers will be happy they pulled the trigger on this speaker. Voices are indeed crisp and clear and separation is outstanding. Coming in about $160 less than the Elac Uni, and slightly less than even the ProCenter 1000 - you will be really happy you went with this center channel masterpiece. My only complaint, If you order direct from the Q Acoustics web-site they are including their high quality (at the same price) speaker cable, which Amazon orders aren't providing. Shipping was fast and the packaging was first-rate from Q Acoustics. I ordered the 6' Mediabridge white speaker cable from Amazon, for around $13 which I am very pleased with. Matches the Arctic white finish and grey accent color like it was part of the same package.

Non credevo che la cassa centrale fosse così determinante nell'ascolto di un 5.1. Con questo ottimo diffusore mi sono ricreduto: l'ascolto è migliorato in maniera esponenziale. Suono cristallino e al contempo bassi profondi, asciutti, ma non eccessivi. Da considerare poi l'estetica: la cassa è davvero un bell'oggetto di design, con o senza la retina frontale. Personalmente io la preferisco senza. Ho scelto il colore bianco perché intonato ai mobili del mio soggiorno, anch'essi bianchi. Avevo però un po' di timore, perché se si sa che le tonalità di bianco possono essere molteplici. Per aiutare futuri acquirenti, posso assicurare che si tratta di un bianco assolutamente neutro, non tendente né all'azzurro, né al beige, perciò privo di dominanti. Non vedo l'ora di acquistare anche le due casse laterali.

Ich habe ein Canton Plus X 5.1 System aus den 90ern, mit dem ich eigentlich immer zufrieden war und noch bin. Und doch ist man immer wieder auf der Suche nach Verbesserung, insbesondere nun Musik von Vinyl hören für mich immer mehr in den Fokus geraten ist. Also war ich auf der Suche nach einem Kompromiss, der sowohl den abendlichen Fernsehton, als auch tagsüber den Musikgenuss optimal zulässt. Ich habe mir letztens die Q3020i bei Amazon bestellt und nun den passenden Centerlautsprecher nachgeschoben. Für mich klingt das in meinem knapp 70 qm grossen Wohnzimmer doch schon sehr ordentlich - insbesondere, wenn man sich den Preis der Lautsprecher ansieht. Die ersetzten Canton Plus X tun ihren Dienst weiter im Schlafzimmer ...
