I can only fit 2 usb cables in , why won’t another 2 for , what am I getting wrong here ?

Sorry I don’t understand. There are only two usb slots on this one. There are 4 slot ones available.

Why don't these have switches do they power up without on & off switch?

Hi, It is live always. The other socket is NBS22u3g which has 2 switched sockets and 2 USB ports. hope this helps Regards Waterford Electricals

Does the light go off when the switch idms off?

Yes, it does dim off when you turn off the switch. But my switch is installed next to air conditioner. But I turn it off by remote control, the light will stay on.
