The biggest issue I had with Windows 11 was that USB to serial adapters (PL2303) stopped being supported, which is a problem when you work in data centres. Finally I've found a USB to serial adapter that does actually work with Windows 11.It doesn't auto install as stated, but the package has a URL on it for the drivers.

Works fine with Windows 11, automatically works (no need to install drivers by hand)

Works great with Windows 10 no setup required .

Bought several of these as replacements for old Prolific adapters that are no longer supported under Windows 10. They work perfectly.The "COM port retention" feature means that each device has a unique serial number. Windows automatically binds the COM port number to the device rather than the USB port, so you can move it between ports and the COM port number does not change. This is really convenient when you have several of them on a machine - you can label each one with its COM port number with confidence.

It "just works", even with a mildly perverse device attached; plugging it in auto-loads the driver in Windows, and "just works" (with normalkernel builds) in Linux. Yay!

Been using these for a couple of years now and they have worked flawlessly. Previous devices failed repeatedly but I've never had to replace one of these.
