Kuhn RikonDuromatic Inox Valve Housing

I like the way they have completely change from plastic to stainless steel and the way its fitted perfectly to the pressure cooker.

This fits my pressure cooker perfectly and is much more durable than the pastic one it replaces. I just hope the plastic clips will turn out to be as durable as the metal cone they are attached to.

Good to have a replacement housing. Pity the plastic clip is not available on its own as this is the weak part.

Does it’s job well.

Poor design from manufacturer as plastic pieces separate during normal use, bought it as a replacement of the original one which broke away after several months of use, was not dropped or anything just normal use, breaks when you remove housing for cleaning. So this one again broke after about 4 months of use ( not even a daily use about couple of times per week) and it's not that cheap! And there's no warranty for this part from Kuhn-Rikon.Will never buy again, glued with strong glue ( not superglue) and so far it holds strong, have a spare one glued in drawer as well.

Good product met our expectations. no hesitation of recommending to others.It will meet the expectation of anybody who buys the product

This is the third one I've had - in 20 years', admittedly - but the design has inherent weaknesses. However, it arrived swiftly, and is not expensive.

I was most pleased with the replacement kuhn rickon valve housing for my pressure cooker. Wont hesitate to buy any further parts for it if required.

Finalmente si sono decisi a costruirla tutta in acciaio inox, anche la parte inferiore con le 3 lingue di guida in plastica che si rompevano con estrema facilità .

Mucha gente estaba reportando lo mismo: cómo una marca tan buena y con una olla tan cara, se incluyen piezas de plástico. En mi caso, la pieza se ha roto (ver fotos) tras 4 años de uso esporádico.Me he llevado una grata sorpresa al ver que ahora la pieza de enganche es de acero 😃

This valve housing is an absolute piece of junk that breaks repeatedly. It ends up being very expensive as you need a new one every few months. I am unable to recommend the pressure cookers that use this valve.
