What a fun activity!! Everything you need to grow your own bonsai trees are included, with easy to follow instructions every step of the way. I loved the assortment of types of seeds as well. Great for kids and adults alike!

This was a great purchase. Out of the 5 different seeds 4 have already sprouted and are growing strong. The only seed that didn't sprout was the Phoenix, but we are giving it another try with our 'seeds for a rainy day'. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, packaging is awesome and the tiny tools makes it feel complete. Every step is listed. If you follow the instructions as they are given you will definitely have success in starting to grow your own bonsai. We are now starting the next steps, planting our young sprouts in small bonsai friendly pots to give them some room, which there are also instructions in the book on how to do it.

I absolutely love this bonsai starter kit! The packaging is beautiful, and it comes with everything you need to get going right out of the box—including high-quality seeds, soil discs, neat burlap pots, and solid gardening tools like shears and tweezers. The instructions are incredibly clear and easy to follow, making the setup process a fun and relaxing afternoon project. I'm so excited to watch these grow. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get into indoor gardening!

This was fun! I planted my seeds inside- I recommend doing it outside because the soil gets a little messy. The seeds were soaked for 24 hours. The soil comes in disks and expands in water. The instructions were easy to follow and the mini tools are adorable. There are also extra seeds if they don’t sprout! Love this.

I got this for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and planted them soon after with her. We followed the included instructions carefully and they're growing well. One variety out of the 5 has not sprouted, but the kit comes with extra seeds so we can try again! Very easy to set up, great quality, and a lot of fun!

Arrived well packed and with adequate supplies. They do give more seeds but it is not marked as to what they are. It's been about a month and haven't seen anything close to growing. Hopefully soon something will start. I followed all directions and even YouTube'd different techniques. I wrote what was my experience and how your product was. So if 6 varieties of seeds plus extra didn't work, then 100% is extremely poor. I followed every direction and did exactly what was required. If you sent quality product, then I would not have sent a review. I will edit my review to reflect this conversation.

The box came exactly as pictured and everything was neat and organized. The tools were soooo cute, not made the best quality because the shovel handle came apart but definitely workable (can be fixed with glue). When potting them 3 out of five sprouted so some seeds are good and some weren’t as is stated in the book. They grew in the time frame it said. Sadly I didn't follow instructions and the start died. Luckily it came with an ample amount of seeds so I’m trying again. It also comes with the book and everything pictured to tell you exactly how to grow them. This was the perfect little gift and I would definitely purchase again for someone like me that loves plants!!! The only reason it’s 4 stars is because of the shovel handle falling apart. Otherwise it’s an amazing buy!!!

Fun gift idea. None of our seeds sprouted.

I was a little sceptical because of the comments about some seeds, particular the wisteria not germinating. That was the one I really wanted to work out. But I wondered how many of the comments were from people lacking patience or not following instructions vs how many legit had bad seeds. First, the packaging was beautiful and will last a lifetime for reuse. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, coming both in booklet form and QR code. I planted 5 of each as per instructions July 25th and within a week germination started and by day 10 most of them were under grow lights. Every single seed germinated, except the wisteria (there’s a happy ending, don’t fear). At about 15-20 days I actually had to cull them all down to 2/3 per pot so the strongest would thrive. They had to come on a road trip for a week too. I wasn’t about to take any chances with them. By August 17th I had to repot to 4 inch pots, separating them all. I only used acadama, pumice, lava rock… and gave them a little fertilizer All but 4 survived the repotting and thrived. I decided to try the spare seeds to see if I could get a wisteria to germinate. I cleaned out the container and found 3 seeds had germinated after all but were growing breach. No idea why. And they were huge! Yay! Turned them right side up, gave them a good soaking spray and now they’re almost as big as the others. You could literally see them grow. The change hour by hour and day after day was remarkable. I decided to repot them again Sept 6th; the soil drainage made me have to water daily. This time they went into their starter homes, bonsai training pots and I used a mix of 3/4 coco core and 1/4 bonsai soil. It’s been two weeks and they’re all happy. Almost too happy. It’s like I have a forest. I would have been happy if even one of each kind survived. I still have so many seeds left but I’d need a bigger house. Can not recommend this purchase enough. I’d give it 10* if I could. If you’re waffling, just put on your patience pants, read the instructions well and give them a try. But make sure you plan ahead for re potting. You’ll likely need to sooner than you might expect.

Me regale este kit para tener un nuevo hobby y poner a prueba mi paciencia así como la dedicación con la naturaleza. A favor: - el kit viene completo con todo lo que necesitas para comenzar - El estuche de madera puede servir como una maceta por si misma - Vienen suficientes semillas para plantar varios arboles - El instructivo es muy bonito, simple, buenas fotografías y sencillo de seguir - Viene con semillas extras por si una variedad completa no germina. En contra. - No todas las semillas germinarán, así que planta varias. En mi caso dos de las variedades germinaron en 1 semana, el resto tardaron 3 semanas mas. - El instructivo es un tanto escueto, ya que no indica la técnica del bonsái ni que hacer una vez que ya germinaron y plantaste en una maceta.
