Digital Caliper, 300mm Vernier Caliper IP54 Waterproof with LCD

Once you work out there is a side retaining spring in the battery compartment, it works very well within the error range stated. More than good enough for my wood working projects and hobbyist engineering.

I have a number of these things from Lidle & Aldi. they work just fine but have little problems with basically crap on/off buttons that are mostly on so the battery usually flat when you need it. This one marginally better in that respect and the build quality is significantly better. Certainly worth the price.

Cheap and good quality

Seems like good quality for the price. Screws on battery cover very small but 2 spare supplied so that helps.

Feels like a decent tool to hold, seems to measure accurately, and has the features I wanted. So far, it's living up to my expectations. I've heard some complain about battery life, but I haven't experienced any issue yet.

When this works its great. Very responsive. I trust in its accuracy. Only problem is it eats batteries. I have found a quality battery lasts around a month. Cheap generic ones last about a week.

Great value, surprisingly accurate, great for every day non machinist use, I use mine in a power equipment shop daily and it’s more then accurate for my needs!

Great for a few months but basically started falling apart and can't hold a tolerance any longer. Support bar on depth bar just disappeared one day. Tension/resistance screw stopped working about a week later (the screw now has 2 positions; locked and loosey goosey). Probably fine for occasional/hobby use but they are far to expensive to be failing after a few months of daily shop use.

Good quality Buy!

Build quality is very good, being all metal; measurements are accurate, buttons are easy to use, and it turns off automatically. After 1 year of use, the display started blinking. I came here to order new batteries, but scrolled down and saw "2 Batteries included." Not only did the first battery last me a good year, but I now have a year before I need to get some fresh batteries. 10/10

In this price range — this digital caliper one of the best on the market. It's extremely accurate and very well made. I've measured a bunch of things, but these ones stand out; my Spyderco Native 5 knife, the blade thickness is 3.2mm on paper, the caliper measured that perfectly. The other is some 20 gauge titanium wire, which is typically 0.032in on paper, the caliper measured that perfectly also (pictures attached). You get a hard case, 2 batteries, 2 spare screws for the battery cover and also a micro screwdriver, plus the instruction manual. If you're in the market for one of these, buy this one. You won't be disappointed.
