Quality at a Respectable Price
im not some super hifi audio engineer but my god does this change the game of the hobby of hifi for me. i love this and i love kali as a first time buyer. ill make try to make this simple and sweet for yall to read Ease of Use- For me i already had a 3 prong xlr output on my topping a90d and d90se stack and could have used different options of connection if i didnt have xlr. setup was easy. flipped the dip switches to closely resemble my setup. and flipped the switch on. kept the volume about halfway so my subwoofer can have a little more volume and off to the races i went into listening Comparison- First and foremost a music designed monitor. i can start with a few comparisons and i may be cruisified for saying this but i by far think the HD800s and hifiman organic are great headsets especially for accuracy but these monitors in comparison light up my music. fills my room with emotion and depth and life i had never heard before. ive spent serious money just for these monitors to hit well above their class in my opinion. soundstage beats both obviously. they have real soundstage a headset cant mimic. highs are lessened but not in a bad way where you cant hear the highs just in a way that is pleasant and enjoyable. it sounds very flat and transparent Sound Signiture- kali went for flat and its flat. all the way down to about sub bass but falls off between 60hz and 40hz. a subwoofer is needed if you want the complete experience, not that its the monitors fault. just how physical speakers work every day listening experience- after about a month or so i have listened to edm, rap, hiphop, electronic, orchestra, and classical and a whole lot of heavy metal and rock. and can say with certainty this improves the listening experience in every way possible. a majority of these genres are improved significantly -i dont listen to country or pop or kpop so idk how these will sound with that- BUT everything ive listened to sounds miles better then my own pair of 1600$ HD600s and (was) 1200$ organic's. more accurate bit for bit? maybe not but its so much more pleasant to hear the dynamics i wouldnt care anyway and thats not to say its not transparent. i am still hearing sounds ive never heard before in tracks ive listened to many many times. thats what hifi is about! does it ruin music on everything else? yes, but not entirely, ill explain. when you find something in the car or on the go youll find either these improve the music significantly or you will find that it is badly composed, maybe lacks dynamics and space, but when a track has real effort at high bit rate with insane composers and artists like Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, or even Daft Punk it opens the music to hights you would be impressed by if you have never heard a good set of monitors before Customer Service- fantastic, i had messaged kali before buying these about if i should get the IN-8v2 or LP-6v2 because i was worried i wouldnt get accuracy like my headphones. they responded that my scenario i would be better off buying the LP-6v2 first and trying it out and using amazons return policy if i didnt like it. very respectable. even afterwards they made sure i had all my issues sorted. asked them a couple of questions about my dip switches that they helped out with because my room was weird. and reached out to make sure everything was taken care of before closing my tickes. Movies- little side pro is the movie experience is awesome as well. paired with my sub of course i love the experience of movies on this it makes everything feel very real and personal. way better then soundbars or your dads old surround sound CONS: im going to be real here and just say the cons dont weight nowhere near as much as the pros. when a company makes affordable hifi gear like this i want them to know. resonance: there is a resonance around the mid range to low end (not sub bass) that i can hear that sounds like the resonance frequency of the box itself, this could be fixed by taking it apart, and putting in sound proofing but thats not something im willing to do. but thankfully its very rare and unlikely to ruin the mix of your song or interfere with your listening experience - side note i believe the song i heard it on was haunted by laura les during the heavy, almost size wave tones in the mid range bass: reviewers say this has good bass and it very well does but it does not shake the desk or walls. just something to be aware of, you want accurate? less bass is key to that. i love bass i have two 12"s in my car and one 12" woofer in my sound setup and it adds my taste into the music on top of everything else already looks: blue turn on light is a little bright if you have a home theater or pitch black room looks: these do look sort of retro if thats your thing. im happy that they are black and arent really attention grabbers but thats user preference side notes~ YOU NEED a interface to run these MAKE SURE you have a equal triangle from speaker to speaker and speaker to listening position. it helps soundstage and dynamics. sitting too close in this triangle makes vocals feel like they are coming from above and i could not tell where other things are coming from SOUND TREATMENT helps a lot preserving quality and bass response and fall off TWEETERS need to be ear level or pointing ear level. i have also found pulling the speakers away from the wall just 3 inches improved soundstage for me and imagining

Accurate sound for not much money!
The LP-6 is popular for many good reasons, and I'm glad I chose them for my small home studio. Paired with my subwoofer, the sound is clean and clear as a bell. I have no idea just how loud they can go since I like my apartment and don't want to be kicked out, but I can tell you that they sound the same loud or quiet. Flat and accurate! My only small complaint is the auto-mute function that kicks in if the volume is too low. I thought they did away with that annoyance with the Mk2 version. Small pop when they come back on. Also, I ended up covering the power on LED on the front...too bright for my taste. Still...fantastic sound for not a heck of a lot of money. Go for it! You deserve it!

Exceptional sound output. The size is ok,not attractive, led indicator when on. Honest, clear sound quality.Bass is good, deep bass could be better. Using a amplifier/audio interface/mixer is advised and the cables for connection should be of better quality to.High resolution audio too.Loud enough, good for monitoring while recording Best value for the quality in this price range. Has three types of connection aux,xlr etc, should be compatible with any music device.
