It is a camera which is attached to your PC and will show the images of what you have placed below the camera on the screen or can be projected onto a whiteboard of screen by a projector from the PC.

Does it have a microphone for recording?

Yes it does. Fairly basic and its on the same face as the camera, but seems to work OK. You could use an external mic connected to your PC/Mac if you want better sound.

Does this work with virtual meeting software such as gotomeeting? i would like to able to sketch diagrams and share these in realtime in the meeting

Hi Richard. I have used the IPEVO V4K with ZOOM virtual meeting software, sharing my screen seamlessly with other participants. I have no reason to believe it won’t work with GoToMeeting. Once you have successfully shared your desktop, navigate to the IPEVO window and continue to use as normal. Regards Schmuel
