Peter Pan Creamy Peanut Butter, 40 Ounce

This is high quality peanut butter. I keep ordering it. It is a bit expensive; I grumble softly about that. Still, the price does not keep me from ordering it. The crunchy version is also super. Besides putting it on bread, I make peanut soup with it. This is a delicacy from Suriname, South America. Peter Pan, keep making it.

Our grocery stores don’t seem to carry Peter Pan since the recall several years ago for which they stood up and refunded all existing jars. I tried several different brands and even the healthy ones they say are better for you. Ha we will die either way so l say eat what you want with in reason and just put the fork down. Best peanut butter ever 😀

Hard to find in our area, also a large container, equals a win in our book! My mother always bought Peter Pan Peanut butter, but became increasingly hard to find in the last decade. We would find it occasionally at Grocery Outlets, but I decided to check Amazon out and found this and bought 5 lol! My momma’s happy, my childhood is back and my husband has switched over too!

This is a great peanut butter without doubt. It stays fresh and tastes good. My only complaint is that it's got a bit more sugar in it than I'm allowed to have (not diabetes), and it makes me sleepy, of all things! Most people won't react to it this way but I have a metabolic situation that makes it hard for me to handle sugars. For those who don't have such a problem, there's no issue. They can buy this, enjoy it, and purchase another one when the first one is (quickly) gone. Just read the label if you're sugar sensitive.

I've eaten Peter Pan for at least 75 years! It has just a more subtle, sophisticated taste -- a tiny bit sweet? -- than the lunch box brands. ( And it IS available in larger jars so you don't run out as quickly!)

But its gotten so damn expensive and hard to find. On the rare occasions that I can actually find it at Amazon, its around 40-50 cents per ounce! Comparatively, Jif and Skippy are 15-20 cents per ounce. But neither of the grocery stores in my area carry it so I dont have much choice unless I happen to find it while out of town.

Never had runny Peter Pan before….
