"ABSOLUTELY" Worth Every Penny!
As a singer, I'd used the Shure SM58's for years, then a Sennheiser e935. I'd been checking out the online reviews regarding this Shure Nexadyne 8/c & 8/s mics. I decided to give these a try, though three time the cost of the 58's, but after using both the Nexadyne 8 c & s mics, I'm no longer using the others. I do not normally write reviews, but this deserved it! Both of these Nexadyne's have a very noticeable sound clarity. Vocals are crisp and clear. Feedback is extremely limited, so you really have to be "trying" to get any, they are also a well made, strong quality microphone. I bought the 8/c first, then the 8/s. Both are excellent and "Definitely" worth the price!!!

Great balanced upgrade from a SM58.
I decided to upgrade from a SM58 to this mic. I could have gotten an SM58 BETA, but I have a baritone voice and this 8/C is very crisp and clear, with a flat EQ. So far, I really like using this mic. You can’t go wrong with Shure, and this mic is good choice IF you don’t mind the extra cost.

Nice upgrade from the Beta58
I like this new mic from Shure. I am a full time musician and gig 6 days a week. On my acoustic shows i usually use a Neumann KMS 105 which is a $700 microphone. On one gig I swapped out the Nuemann t for this Shure nexadyne 8s and the nexadyne held its own. Great sounding microphone. I like how I can sing right up in the grill close to the diaphragm and it doesn’t get too muddy like my older shure beta 58. Now this mic is bright which is not a problem for me, but some may prefer the 8c model. I used it on a band gig and it has better rejection than the beta 58 I usually use on those loud gigs.

LET YOUR VOCALS BE HEARD
An awesome sounding mic for live performances. It cuts trough all the music and allows the vocals to come through clearly without harshness. I have used the Shure 58 Beta, the Sennheiser 845 and 945, and in my opinion the Shure Nexadine 8-S is my go to mic.

Amazing mic.
Easily the best vocal mic I've owned. Very clear and sounds great! Even works well for recording. It does lack a little of the warmth of an SM58 but the sound quality is clearly better. I'm very pleased with this mic.
