Good quality
I bought these blackout curtains for a little room my daughter sleeps in when she visits me. The room is very bright early morning. I hung them up today and was pleasantly surprised how good they fit and look. Very good quality for the price.

No special thermal or blackout properties
I was particularly looking for thermal curtains to reduce heat loss through a spare room. I wasn't too fussed about the colour, as the room is unused, so went with plain black. There is absolutely nothing about these that persuades me they are "thermal"; they are not heavy, not lined, not multi-layered! Obviously, any curtain at all will be some improvement over none - which was what I had before - but these are very thin, lightweight curtains. I haven't really tested the blackout properties, as I didn't buy them for this. Due to them being black, they do darken the room considerably, but I think any dark fabric would achieve much the same.
