Good everyday and training shoes
I've worn these almost every day for just under two years. They are more comfortable than Chucks due to the rubber insole and the padded canvas. They have amazing grip on pavement and are perfect for wet conditions (they should be since they were designed for it), but where they lack slightly is in the sole. These are made for water ops, so they don't have the best grip in grass or dry, packed dirt. They are adequate, but if you're hiking or running a competition, I'd advise you use some hiking or trail shoes instead. Finally, the sole will start to wear out a bit earlier than most other shoes if you regularly use them in concrete or paved surfaces. Great shoes overall though. I own two pairs.

Very durable and very comfortable, even in the cold.
As an Army Veteran I have nothing but praise for these shoes. I currently have two pairs, lows and mids. Being that this review is for the mids, I will refrain from mentioning too much about the lows. First off is the durability. I still train today very hard with range drills (desert terrain, rocks, cactus, ect.) and these shoes have shown no signs of wear with the exception of some deep scratches on the bottom of the soles. They have been through hot dry conditions, wet, sand, mud, snow and just about everything else and have kept my feet comfortable and protected with the exception of the snow, but neoprene socks are the key to that. They dry quickly, and wash very easily in either a washing machine, or just wear them in the shower. Secondly, they are very comfortable. I have worn boots from Bates, Belleville and 5.11 and naturally they are heavy. These are lighter than most running or cross trainer shoes, and reduce felt fatigue on the top of the foot, calves and ankles. The padding at the top of the shoes keeps dirt and mud out while maintaining comfort without blisters. The rubber insoles do not provide much arch support much like Converse shoes, however they are easy to remove and swap with insoles that provide support if needed. The upside of the rubber insoles is they dry quickly, preventing the shoes from retaining sweat and smelling like roadkill after several consecutive range days in 100+ degree weather. The appearance of the shoes doesn't not scream "tacticool", and retain a more conservative appearance than anything. The multicam and black multicam print is not heavily pronounced, but neither has seemed to fade or distort in anyway. As far as shoes are concerned, I will not purchase another brand and am waiting for my kids to grow into the appropriate sizes as these will outlast any big brand tennis shoes by leaps and bounds.

Great shoe, with one minor flaw that could be changed
Shoe fit perfectly, due to having half sizes and wider varieties available. Everything about the shoe is great and they seem well made, my one problem is the insole, but I think there is a specific reasoning behind it; the insole feels great and is supportive, but due to the material it breathes terribly and leaves my sole feeling sweaty. This is all probably due to the material choice and the fact this shoe is designed for amphibious activities. My one change would be to find an insole as comfy and supportive that breathes/wicks moisture better

The toe is a bit narrow
Used as a wading shoe. Great lite shoe but need to order 2 sizes over regular shoe size

Wanted to like 'em, but just can't because of the lining problem.
I use these as supposedly intended, in the water, mud and sand. The designers don't know what they are doing except marketing SEAL appeal, they obviously never tested their product- sand and any weed/grass seeds are the problem, it all loads up in the tricot liner and never comes out. If it were only smooth canvas on the inside it would be a great marine environment shoe (doubt the cloth mesh covered ports will hold up, should be brass like combat boot vents). I'm back to wearing Chucks after several months trying to like these, everything old is new again I guess, but the All Stars work just as well for a fact, are cheaper and easily hosed out after wearing. Don't buy.

Expensive but Satisfactory
I have to say these were very pleasant. While the insole is a bit looser than I would like, it's a better fit than I expected by a long margin. Its comfortable enough though could use a higher reinforcement on the back of the shoes. 4 stars for now, after 6 months if it's still in great condition, itll be 5 stars and have earned that overly spendy $98 price tag.

They come small and need a little break in but are great.
So...I ordered this the first time in an 11. I usually wear 10.5 in Nike, 11 in Adidas and New Balance. The 11s were too small. So I sent them back and got 11Wides. These are great. They take a couple days to get ‘the stiff’ out, but are very comfortable once they’re broken in. I also switched out some memory foam insoles for the rubber ones that come with the shoes.
