ELEGOO PLA 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm Wood 1KG

I really like this filament. The wood color and look is pretty nice, and when printing it even smells like you're in a woodshop. Didn't have any issues with printing using a Bambu Labs A1. Haven't printed a lot with it but so far in the few pieces I have done it has ran well with no tangling and seems to print uniformly. If you're looking for a more wood looking PLA this works great without breaking the bank.

I’ve been really impressed with this wood PLA so far. It prints smoothly and has a really nice wood-like appearance once the print is finished. The color and texture give printed projects a much more natural look than standard PLA. I’ve used it for decorative pieces and functional prints, and it has been easy to work with. I also like that the finished prints can be sanded to smooth out the surface and give them an even more realistic wood appearance. The filament fed consistently and I didn’t have any major issues with stringing or layer adhesion. Overall, it’s a great option if you want your 3D prints to have a wood aesthetic without the hassle of actually working with wood. Definitely a filament I’ll keep around for future projects.

I've been using the ELEGOO Wood PLA Filament for a while now, and I'm pleased to say that they have been providing consistent printing results. The filament's dimensional accuracy is welcome, with a tolerance of +/- 0.02mm, which has allowed me to produce high-quality prints with ease. The 1.75mm diameter filament is compatible with most FDM 3D printers in my case a BAMBULAB A1. However, I do have some doubts about the claim that this filament contains real wood fibers. While the filament does have a slightly woody texture and appearance, I'm not convinced that it actually contains wood fibers. That being said, this hasn't affected the print quality, and I've been happy with the results. Overall, I'd recommend the ELEGOO Wood PLA Filament to anyone looking for a reliable and consistent printing experience. Five stars, and I'd definitely purchase again!" The wood pla is definitely simple to use compared to other wood pla, but that does come at the price of not being that wood like. Don’t expect this to feel or look like wood. It’s more matte like than normal pla, but nothing screams wood. Other wood pla can be much much harder to print but has lots of details that make it appear more wood like, like wood specks etc. This is quality pla and easy to print, but at the sacrifice of not really being that wood like. I even printed with my .4mm nozzle, compared to the .6 recommended for most wood pla filament.

I've used other colors of wood and they work great. The light color does not. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what. It feels rough, prints are brittle (when they work). I have tried multiple spools of it, I have changed nozzles, I have put it in the filament dryer for 8 hours. Every print is exactly the same. I can switch to a different color and leave everything as is, and prints are perfect. It's the filament. I've also noticed the sealed bags become unsealed.

I love this filament. Bought it for my husband to make me those sandwich baggie holders that go in the drawer. Worked perfect on the first try. I also bought the darker color for some contrast. I absolutely love it. Also had him make me a simple vase with highlight stripes with the 2 wood filaments. We use it for all the bottle brush and straw cleaners we have in this household. It looks great on the counter and now all the cleaners are in one place. You won't be disappointed in this filament.

This is the second that I have bought and so you can see I like it. It does have some clogging issues and I am switching to a 6mm nozzle to see if it does better.
