AWESOME for tenderizing meat
My husband uses this all of the time!!! It makes our meat so tender and he marinates it and our dinners have been delightful. Our nephew had one of these and so we ordered one. This is our 2nd one if 5 years because our first one had one of the pieces break. But, it was because of constant use. We eat a lot of meat and grill a lot in summer. It is a sturdy well made gadget. I think my husband is a little hard on it, actually. But, it has a nice cover to store it, nice size for covering the meat. Goes in the dishwasher and cleans well. We wouldn't be without it. When the first one broke, I ordered another one immediately. My husband removed the broken piece since it was on the end and so now we have two!!! Ha Ha

Great kitchen tool
I got a little carried away with this tool the first time I used it, it works great, easy to use, washes up with ease. Light weight and has a good protective cover. Just a few punches will do, the blades are very sharp and do the job easily.

Worth the money
This meat tenderizer works very well and cuts through pork chops with ease. For the best results, make sure the meat is completely thawed before using it. If the meat is still frozen, the spikes can bend, and once that happens, the tool doesn't work properly. Straightening or removing a bent spike is difficult, and the tenderizer may no longer fit together correctly. Aside from that, it's lightweight, easy to use, and very easy to clean. I put mine in the dishwasher, and it comes out clean every time. As long as you use it on fully thawed meat, it works great and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Works great as a tenderizer, PITA to clean
Good news: This did wonders for a top round I marinated and grilled this past Memorial Day. It really transformed the steak. Bad news: Hard to clean: I was up at the cabin. No dishwasher. Can't really clean this tool by hand other than spraying water at it. Product does come with a mini-nylon brush which could be helpful to knock off chunks but honestly I couldn't really see anything on all those 48 blades. Once I returned home I ran the tool through the dishwasher. The construction/design allows up to 1 ounce to intrude into and become trapped within the plastic clam-shell handle. I disassembled the device to dry. Overall: The tool works well but is a PITA to clean without disassembly and then reassembly. I am not a germ phobic at all but just running this through the dishwasher is creating a literal germ pool within. I should get a more medieval-looking solid one-piece thing. Until that replacement arrives I will continue to use and clean this tool as it does work very well. Just take it apart, wipe the blades down, dry and reassemble. Or you could just use the dishwasher and then place tool in a warm dry environment (like in the sun for the afternoon) and maybe the water will evaporate from within.

That it really works and saves money!
This meat tenderizer works like a charm. I took a slice of round steak, used this tenderizer all over both sides, seasoned it well and fried it in butter and shared it with my husband. It was delicious and quite tender…better then paying 15.00 a pound for a T-Bone especially when feeding a family. So happy with my purchase a great way to save money and still afford to eat beef. Would recommend this tenderizer for all meats and a great price too.

Awesome, but be careful.
This thing is ridiculous, was cheap to buy, and I understand why, it’s kind of a cheap product. Don’t take this the wrong way, let me explain. It was priced well, & works perfectly. In fact it works so well, it’s a trail and error situation with your steaks. You need to learn and understand your meats. You can completely shred a huge chunk of meat and make amazingly soft steaks with this. How ever you can go to far easily, Not fault of the product though. Personally I love it. However it’s made of kinda cheap plastic and not recommended for the dish washer, I ended up with water going through cracks in the plastic and took days for it to dry out.. they could have put more effort into the design and style with the materials it made of. They should have made a better solid feeling handle while also making it water proof with a rubber coating making it also nonslip.

Easy to use and great results!
I used this to make some chicken fried steak with cut offs from a whole beef strioloin I bought. The end pieces I've had from previous whole striploins weren't as tender as I'd like, and it's important with chicken fried steak to get them nice and tender! This did a great job! It really tenderized the steaks, and it also helped me get the spices down into the meat instead of just the outside where they can more easily fall off. This worked way better than the old hammer style that I had before! Wuality wise it seems decent. As long as you don't abuse it it'll last! I'm happy with jt!
