Total gamechanger! I was recommended this harness by someone for my dog who I've literally never been able to stop pulling. She gets totally over stimulated outdoors and strains against the end of the lead no matter where it's attatched. Shes also a short faced breed so overheated and struggled with her breathing very quickly due to the pulling. With this harness she IMMEDIATELY stopped pulling! She still takes up the slack and tests it at the beginning of walks, but doesn't just strain at the end of it and soon consistently drops back so the lead isn't pulled tight. She has no trouble breathing in it and sounds so much better when wearing it - no piggy noises! Thank you for making dog walking enjoyable and not so much of an extremely sport again! Fit wise the medium is a little big on on the tightest setting despite her fitting the measurements listed, but she is an awkward shape and size :) still works perfectly fine. Very easy to use and seems great quality.

This harness is great. We have rescue greyhounds and bought this for out large male (we got M/L) who has a very strong prey drive and pulls hard on his walks. It was starting to hurt my shoulder and would cause him to cough and choke. We looked at the recommended no-pull harnesses for greyhounds due to their unique body shape and this one came in the top three so decided to give it a go and we have a different dog. This worked instantly and now he walks to heel with no pulling at all but is still enthusiastic for his walks and I feel I could walk for miles now and enjoy every minute. The fit seems very comfotrable and he seems happier to have the head freedom. The claps are strong and although one of them sits just behind his shoulder, iut doesn't rub but moves nicely with him as he walks. It's always a bit of a gamble when you buy these things but we can't recommend this enough.

Having bought a couple of these Easy Walk harnesses (this one in a medium and the original in a medium/large), it has taken a while to get around to writing this review, as I wanted to give time for me and my two border collies to get used to them! For those of you who have pullers or reactive lungers and are struggling to get anywhere with the training (which includes me!), then these are really helping. I'm finding with the front clip attachment, they can't pull as much, and if they do, then it's easier for me to correct. Also, if they do react (to a bus/motorbike or certain dogs), then they actually spin around and end up facing me. It's not sorting out all of the pulling or reactivity - that can only be done with training, but it is giving me better control of them, which does seem to be calming them down. On the less positive side, I found it difficult to get what I thought was the right fit, even after reading about how to fit them and seeing the videos. No matter how I try and adjust the straps, the underbelly buckle always seems to be too close to the "armpit" - I cannot see any chafing as of yet, but I'm keeping an eye on it. Also, it's a tricky balance between having the straps too tight or too loose. I made the mistake of firstly trying to fit them whilst they were sat down - they definitely need to be standing to get the right fit, but if you take too much time, you'll be fighting against fed-up, wriggly balls of fur! In summary, I can see how these harnesses have had both negative and positive reviews, but if you can get the right fit, it may just make your walks with your dog(s) much more pleasurable.

Quality is good but not suitable for large pulling breeds. Too slim.

This harness works really well. I've tried several others but they all have their drawbacks. The ones that go over the dog's nose work well enough but aren't that comfortable for the dog. Those that put pressure on the dog's chest when they pull (with a lead connector near the dog's shoulders) reduce pulling but not enough for you to walk comfortably. This one is comfortable to wear and reduces significantly the dos's inclination to pull. People have reported chafing but if you keep the harness loose so there is plenty of slack you will have no problems. Even when loose the dog cannot escape the harness so just don't do it up tight.

I am really thrilled with this harness. I have a 2 year old HIGH energy & high anxiety lab mix. I’d pretty much exhausted all efforts in training him to walk nicely on the lead whenever he was excited. We finally settled on a gentle leader harness which did work, but he hated wearing it. This harness has exactly the same result as the gentle leader, but without the discomfort/displeasure for him wearing the bridle. We are both so happy! He is 21kg and the medium fits perfectly.

As soon as my dog realised he could pull on the new harness he did and it has made his elbow sore where the harness was pulling.

There is no doubt that my poor training techniques would have negated this harness. However, I have had so many harnesses and halti-type devices but none have worked for me. To be frank I only found this solution by accident as I was getting so frustrated by younger dog (39kg) pulling. I thought I would try moving the lead from connection on the back of the harness to the one at the front (never been used before). All of sudden he stopped pulling, however it was obvious the position on this harness wasn't specifically designed for this use, as the connection was fixed and pulled the harness to one side and was uncomfortable for the dog. I then started to search for a harness where the connection at the front moved laterally and I found the PetSafe Easy Walk. I tried it on the young dog first and it was remarkable, I then bought a second for my older dog. Now they walk at my side and my wife can come on walks without being dragged about. P.S. I would suggest buying the Deluxe model if you have short-haired dogs as the padding will stop chaffing in the area where the chest meets the inside of the fore leg.

Vorweg: Ich habe noch nie bei Amazon bewertet, weil ich mir einfach nicht die Zeit genommen habe. Aber ich denke dieses Produkt kann wirklich etwas verändern und hätte mir selbst schon früher geholfen. Ich habe seit 5 Wochen meinen Zwergpudel bei mir und in der Zeit jeden Tag konsequent das Laufen an lockerer Leine geübt, belohnt, mich an sämtliche Trainingstipps gehalten usw. Aber gerade auf längeren Spaziergängen kam immer der Punkt, an dem mein Hund wie irre gezogen hat oder spielen wollte und willkürlich mit voller Kraft in die Leine gesprungen ist. Das war für uns Beide frustrierend und unangenehm. Wir haben pausenlos trainiert und ich konnte auf Spaziergängen kaum noch meine Umgebung wahrnehmen, weil der Fokus nur auf dem Hund lag. Nach einigen Vergleichen habe ich dieses Geschirr bestellt (das kleine in türkis) und es ist, als wäre ein Schalter umgelegt worden. Von heute auf morgen hat sich das wochenlange Training ausgezahlt und ich kann entspannt mit meinem Hund spazieren gehen. Und das stundenlang. Ich stimme den Rezensionen zu, die sagen, dass das Geschirr kein Training ersetzt. Aber inzwischen glaube ich, dass das Verhalten von meinem Hund zuvor nicht an mangelnder Disziplin gelegen hat, sondern schlicht daran, dass er sein bisheriges Geschirr und Halsband unangenehm fand und dann schnell frustriert war. Das neue Geschirr ist federleicht, schmal und ich glaube er merkt es kaum. Ich würde es allen Hundehaltern empfehlen, deren Hund schon halbwegs an der Leine läuft und die Grundregeln kapiert hat - praktisch für den Feinschliff. Was man auch noch anmerken muss: Mein Pudel ist für einen „Zwerg“ außergewöhnlich groß und wiegt 9kg. Trotzdem ist das „kleine“ Geschirr fast ein bisschen locker. Für einen normalen Zwergpudel, ganz zu schweigen von kleineren Rassen, definitiv zu groß. Außerdem bilden sich entlang des Geschirrs bei Reibung schnell Knötchen im Fell, also bürste ich noch mal extra vor dem Schlafen am Abend. Aber das alles sind für mich im Vergleich zu den positiven Effekt nur kleine Nachteile. 🙂
