Our fresh water tank and pump is underneath the bed of our camper along with some extra storage space. To gain access to this area, there is a hinged lid beneath the mattress that is held up by two gas struts. Those struts worked fine with the stock mattress, which SUCKED, so we replaced it immediately with a nicer (heavier) model. That extra storage space is where my wife wanted to keep the extra sheets, towels, etc so it needed to be easily accessed. The new mattress was too heavy for the gas struts, and a powered solution seemed in order, not to mention I've always wanted an excuse to use linear actuators. I bought these to replace the gas struts and installed them. They are controlled via the included momentary toggle switch at the foot of the bed. They work great, but most importantly the wife loves it.

Bought in February. Used less than 1 month. Opens great……..Then it closes itself. Will NOT stay open now. Used less than 1 month & not used even everyday. CANNOT contact SELLER. UPDATE………..June 20. After getting the information to be able to contact the company, they are standing behind their products and are sending a new actuator to replace the one I had a problem with, Definitely RECOMMEND this company!

This actuator appears as shown and works. It is not as robust as more commercial grades but our use is for a low load R&D project so it will work fine at 1/10th the price.

Installed on my lawn spreader that I pull behind my zero turn mower, works great.

This actuator works as it should. No issues.

This actuator worked great to install on a 3 point snowblower for the chute. I have not used it yet but it looks like it is a great addition so I don’t have to get off the tractor and manually adjust the chute discharge height. I used the supplied brackets and mounted them to the side of where the original adjuster would go.

The problem with these actuators is not that they are extremely slow, and it's not that they're not waterproof. The biggest problem with these actuators is that the mounts are cheap. I have been through three of them now where the actuator itself does not fail, but the little mount on the bottom snaps off with the slightest bit of torque. So when you put this on any tool that's actually going to put some Force back against it, it will break every time.

These linear actuators work well and suited my project nicely. They are a bit noisy and slow however.

C'est le 2e que j'achète et ça brise après 1 moi et demi !!!!!! Juste après la période de retour possible! Ne gaspillez pas votre argent avec un produit dont le moteur lâche après quelques utilisations !
