I purchased this for a specific situation. Three cervical spine fractures I was desperate to find the right cushion for behind my neck recovering in my recliner chair. I hesitated purchasing such a bulky item at the time unsure if it would work with the neck brace on and very glad I did. It turned out to be exactly what my neck needed and the memory foam absorbed all the thick and rigid neck collar settling into a comfortable position. It has a very nice discreet zipper to pull off the cover for washing. Haven't done that yet, a little Leary I'd be able to get the dang thing back on again. lol This u-shaped neck pillow works very well after my fractures healed. Would definitely make a good travel pillow except for the bulk.

This is not an adult size.. Take note it is for a child. They should be more clear in the description. I still gave 5 stars because it is a good neck pillow but I was just disappointed in the size.
