The biggest problems the staff at Miyashi Tackle have found with generic "flat fall" style jigs were the weak rings, kevlar, and hooks. Hooks and rings were bending or snapping when hooked up to a big fish, and the kevlar was snapping after couple uses in saltwater on the lesser quality jigs. As result, we have focused on creating a jig with stronger hooks, rings, kevlar, and ultra-durable paint. These jigs have been the go-to for many California fisherman targeting, tuna, yellowtail offshore, and calico bass inshore. The guys up in the Oregon/Washington/Alaska area have been killing the rockfish/lingcod/halibut.
