Harper Brush 10804A 12-Inch Indoor Upright Broom

I could not be happier with this broom. I bought 2; one for our wood floors in the house and another for my finished garage floor that I use as a mechanic garage and wood shop depending on the project at hand.The broom does a great job on the wood floor and gets most if not all the dust without leaving trails of dirt. It also seems to be gentle on the wood and synthetic floor finish as I have not seen any marks or scratches left.The broom also does a really good job at sweeping the finished garage floor and is able to sweep the sawdust from my projects. I of course always have to use a vacuum cleaner to completely remove dust from some edges and corners that the broom can not get to but it is always minimal.The product is well made and I expect it to last a vey long time.

I never thought I'd order a broom online....but years ago I bought this brand for a great price at our local hardware store and it was the best broom I had ever used. I have never found another since then that even comes close...I even replaced the old handle when it broke so I could keep using it instead of buying any of the new ones I could find locally. So, I came online to see if I could find one since my old one was finally getting to the beyond happy stage after YEARS of hard use...and low and behold...Amazon had one. I paid significantly more for this one than I did my original one and it's worth every penny. This one is bigger...I originally had the 9". The reason I like it is that the bristles are not too stiff but flexible enough to actually sweep debris without flinging it across the floor and the ends are frayed and dense enough to actually sweep finer debris instead of passing over it. I'd re-purchase this several times over, happily. It has made me a broom snob, lol :)

I have not had time to use this broom much - have only tried it out twice. But..... I cannot wait to use it over a long period of time. So I cannot really comment on longevity - it seems strong and sturdy to me. I have a feeling I am going to be very happy with it. Nice long handle - I love the width and how it performed during my short "sweeps" If I was not excited by the promise it shows I would not do this review yet. But I tried so long to find something that appealed, I am doing this so that someone considering it knows that it does look worthwhile getting. So many other brooms seemed unappealing at the point of consideration. This one appealed.

I LOVE this broom! I don't know why it's awesome, it just is! It gets ALL the dirt on the floor. I am a mad woman sweeping the floors! Get this broom!!!The handle isn't wood like the sweeper part. It arrived broken but it's a standard size and took the handle off the Libman broom I was replacing and it fit.

Best broom I ever bought, Home Depot used to sell them, then they quit!!! Went 10 years with out them, then saw them on Amazon. So I bought (2) to see if they were the same product. Yes it is the same product and they are fantastic!!! Everyone needs (2) in their home!!

This product is amazing. It gets into the little nooks and crannies well worth it’s funny.

What a dandy broom. I thought it a bit silly to be researching Amazon for brooms, but it paid off! I have 2 of these and they are efficient time savers. My old brooms kept leaving stuff behind, but these brooms seem to have eyes. So, a broom is not just a broom, but a really good investment. I'm thinking about buying a couple more.2017: the problem with the broom is that it does wear out and when it does, you cannot replace the brush head. I began to notice that the broom wasn't picking up as well it did when it was new and when I went to buy a replacement, I discovered that wasn't possible. What a disappointment.

The brush part of the broom is as pictured. It sweeps really nicely, is light weight and all that. However, the handle is black plastic. Another reviewer said it was hollow aluminum. I expected a modern silver handle and just got cheap looking black plastic. Oh well. It wasn't that expensive I guess. It's odd that the handle is cheap plastic since the bottom brush part is crafted from nice wood and says 'made in USA' on it.
