Works great!
I got it with the connection for Sony Alpha cameras. It fit my Alpha 77-II perfectly. Operation was simple. It doesn't have an on off switch, so I recommend removing the batteries (2-AAA0 when not in use. I use it mostly for the interval function.

A good inexpensive shutter release with great time delay functionality
I wanted a shutter release for my Nikon Z8 camera so I picked up this Hersmay LCD Timer Shutter Release Camera Remote. The nice part is the end connector can be easily replaced, however, you could also easily lose the connector to the actual camera. I also picked one of these remotes for my Z7ii so I can use one remote with both connectors interchangeably. In the box, you receive the remote, plug for my Z8, and instruction manual. The remote is quite large measuring 6.25" long x 1.75" wide x.75" high. There are several buttons on top of the remote; Lock and illuminate button, Timer Start/Stop button, directional + confirm, and shutter release + hold button. The remote takes two AAA batteries to function and does one of two things: set up time delays and trigger the shutter.I have two concerns with this connector; the first is use in weather, I probably wouldn't use this connection in any wet weather conditions, the second issue is the size of the unit - it's not heavy but if I need to place the remote down I wouldn't want to leave it hanging from the cable. When connected, I placed my camera into shutter priority and was easily able to set up time delays via the remote. There's a countdown timer that shows you on the remote screen when the next trigger will occur and it worked perfectly.Overall, if you're looking for a shutter release for your Z8 or Z9, this is a great option, especially at the price for all the functionality you get.
