36"/90cm FTA Satellite Dish and .5dB NR SL1PLL Single Standard LNBF

This is my second dish, replacing a generic Chinese 30x34 inch dish. It is significantly better made, finding several transponders which the cheaper disk could not resolve. More directional means better performance, but more care is needed when pointing at the tricky satellites. I found it able to resolve the Ku 12180 V PBS transponder on AMC-21 at 125W from the stronger Hughes Internet satellite at 127W, something the generic disk was failing to do reliably. It was well-packed for shipping by FedEx Ground. I like the darker-colored finish, it is less visibly obtrusive than the Generics. The mount is solid as a rock (by comparison with my earlier dish) and the level gauge inset into the top of the mounting pole is brilliant!

Works well in the usa and I used a stab rotor with it to tune all the satellites there are 5 different satellites I use.. The LNB that came with it had some interference from DBS on weaker downlinks otherwise its enough gain and low enough noise figure to get almost all of the DVB FTA broadcasts. I always have it on. It may need re adjustment if there is a windstorm over 50mph. Install low to the ground to avoid wind problems. Comes with fixed roof/wall mount.

I bought three of these several years ago, but only setup two. I must say these dishes have held up very nicely over the last several years. There was some rusting on some of the hardware, which I've replaced, and the the white lettering on the back side on the dish has faded some, but that's to be expected when mounted on a pole outdoors 24/7 in rain, snow, or shine. Overall, the dish's general appearance looks very good. I'm confident in saying this is a well made product. In fact, I still have the original LNBF's, the slimmer ones, which are working just fine still picking up most of the relevant transponders on 97 W, 87.1 W, and 91 W.

This dish was a joy to assemble and install. Outstanding material quality and features. It replaced my aging 15 year generic dish that was rusting right through the LMB support arm. Assembly instructions were a slightly bit different than the one I downloaded from the manufacture's website, but never the less easy to understand. I can receive a signal now when its raining cats and dogs outside now; no more rain fade! Cosmetically its attractive with its dark color and looks professional.

The dish was easy to assemble with great instructions. It picked up some satellites. For the price it was a pretty good buy.

The stand for it is so awful that I haven't even been able to use it yet despite buying it over a month ago. Now I'm going to have to buy a separate stand for another $100 and hope it fits with this thing.

Such an awesome dish. I use this as a fixed dish and it works beautiful. A few weeks ago I had some channels but not all, and after taking a walk up the hill to the dish to find it covered in snow and thick ice. LOL yet I had some channels working. This dish is excellent for bad weather!

The Ku-LNB is off the correct setting!! Should be (10725?? I can't remember, but this one is WAY off) the LNB that came with it is so off the correct number, none of the stations came in on their correct Transponder number. I had to do a Blind Search, they did come in - I write this much later than when I bought it, because I JUST found out of this fact. I thought the transponder numbers listed online were wrong- NO- my LNB is wrong!!! The Dish itself is fine, and everything came with "all the nuts and bolts". It's a nice, dark metallic color with no graphics. Very easy to install.
