Hands down I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this deck. The book isn’t some cheap piece of folded paper, it’s a decent size book, that stores nicely in the bag. It’s great for educational and reference purposes. Both the bag and the cards are very sturdy. The material that the bag is made from is very durable. It’s not some cheap fabric. It has a nice thickness and quality to it. The book has a lot of info. The cards aren’t stiff like some cards are, they have some give, so they are easy to do a bridge when you shuffle. They are a bit bigger than a deck of playing cards so I had to learn how to hold them in my hand and shuffle them. That wasn’t a deal breaker for me though. Some people like the cards to be rigid, I don’t. The print is large enough that I can read it without my glasses. They are a classic deck of Rider-Waite so the pictures don’t veer from the original design. What I love the most is that all the info associated with the card, is right on the card. No need to look up any info. Of course you can put your own spin on the card but if you are new to tarot, these cards are for you. The only negative about this deck is that the pictures are very pale and I miss things bye to them being pale. I also have a radiant Ryder-Waite deck that I love because I can see more of the details but I find myself using this deck because I get more out of it. If I had to do it over, I’d buy this deck again in a heartbeat!
