I was looking for a manual ice cutter machine that didn’t have to have a special ice cube for its use. Years ago I had a machine that had an ice cube tray for the machine. It limited how many snow cones I could make. I didn’t like that. With this machine, I just put ice from my ice maker in and turn the handle while pushing down on the pressure part. It works perfectly. Very easy and durable. It is a great value for the money. I am very pleased with my purchase. I should also include that I start from smaller pieces of ice because that’s what my ice machine makes which I thought would be a problem and hinder the cutting process. It doesn’t. The machine cuts my ice nicely down to little (very little) ice cube chunks. It’s notlike shaved ice but, oh my goodness, my ice is just right for snow cones.

This makes great snow, easily and quickly, then the item can go in the dishwasher. I use grape juice, rather than water, to make the ice cubes, so I don't add any syrups after. I freeze the cubes ahead and put them in a jar in the freezer, so there are always some ready. My 5 year old grandson enjoyed snow cone with just plain juice, as did everyone else.

Seems to do well. Shaves quickly, I need to refill several times to fill the container but it fills fast. It would have been nice to have one more size blade for larger grinds.

Wanted a snow cone maker that didn't require electricity. A big hit with my 5-yr-old granddaughter. Donated the ice tray since my freezer is not friendly to keeping anything horizontal, but it worked perfectly the larger chunks from my icemaker. Simple to use, which is critical (if I can't figure it out by looking at it, it's too complicated). Love that I can use it anywhere, since there are no cords, and the patio is easy to hose down, though it was not particularly messy with the grown-up pouring. I bought a padded lunch bag with enough room for the machine, cups, straws, and two flavor bottles in the side pockets, so now it's very portable. Perfect.

We use this product to create shaved ice. Is compact and works as expected.

I’m so impressed. My 6 year daughter and I love snow cones and I never imagined a manual ice shaver could work so fast and easily that even my daughter likes to do it! In literally 1-2 minutes we have cups of yummy, soft or crunchy ice to flavor and enjoy. I highly recommend!

Not bad at all for the price. It's easy for my son to use and he loves it, and that's all that matters. Just hope it lasts a while.

Shaves ices in two forms fine or course and both come out amazing. The wheel is very easy to use and so is the ice insert. The noise may be a little loud. It’s fairly small and easy to store in the kitchen.
