1Zero for MagSafe CD Phone Holder for Car, Foldable Longarm CD Phone Mount

By far the best CD-mounted phone-holder I’ve tested so far. Overall great design, and very easy to use. Fits snug & sturdy in the CD player slot, magnet feels strong, and barely shakes at all when I drive! I love that it came with two different style adjustment screws (I chose the round one for a more OEM look), and it fit so snug I don’t even need to use the extra rubber strips it came with. We’ll see how long the ball pivot stays snug, will update review if anything changes. Pictures show it safely mounted in a 2012 Genesis Sedan.

This is the BEST car mount I have EVER owned! My phone has NEVER fallen off, not one time. I live in the High Rockies of Colorado. We have many dirt roads here, which seems to be the ultimate test for this mount. Great deal for the money too!

I had been looking for a good place to mount my phone in my Lexus without sticking anything to the dashboard or windshield, and this was the perfect solution. The CD slot mount fits securely, the magnet is incredibly strong, and my phone hasn't budged, even over bumps. It's easy to pop my phone on and off, and it keeps everything within easy reach without blocking my view. I honestly wish I had found this sooner. One of my favorite car accessories!

This is the second CD Slot phone holder I've purchased. The other was from another company. It was great but not Magsafe. My old phone didn't have Magsafe so no problem. Found this one and really liked that the ring was connected to another piece that can swivel. This setup allows for placing the phone up higher or down lower - perhaps 2" of range. Or a bit to the left or right. This makes it great for a variety of cars where each is a bit different in placement of the CD player, stereo screen, buttons, etc. On mine, I can now see the screen better than with the last mount. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because when removing the phone it moves the ring a bit if not done carefully. Moving the ring makes the ball joint come a bit loose. And then a bit more loose the next time ... So, I have to tighten the ball joint often. It's inconvenient but acceptable. The way this mount tightens into the CD slot works fairly well but I think that everyone will have some play with it not being extremely tight with movement up and down. However, this doesn't bother me at all no matter the roads I've driven on - but haven't gone off road. Note that I've had to tighten the wing nut twice but that really hasn't been inconvenient. Overall, very good mount for my needs.

Rock solid in the CD slot (which isn’t used anymore) and holds the phone nicely. Finally glad I found a phone mount

Easy to install. Strong magnet. Firm hold in the CD tray.

Love love love this. It is sturdy and you can adjust the angle to help with road trips.

Does what it needs to but the magnets are stronger than the clamp making it easy to pull out.

Make sure you insert the entire back end into the CD slot, then tighten the butterfly screw to ensure the phone holder is secure. After that, just enjoy. Product received as advertised. Solid design—does not flop around on bumpy roads. Tested in both a 2012 Mazda and a 2016 Honda. If your phone does not use MagSafe or your case is thick, the included magnetic metal disk, which attaches to your phone or case, is a handy addition. VERDICT: Well-built, practical, and worth the price if you want a secure, no-nonsense mount.

Does exactly what it needs to do, is stable and strong

Good to have it now ! I’ll update more if anything go wrong but so far so good ! what an invention

Perfect solution for older cars with CD players.

Sturdy holder if you have a car with a CD player and don't use the CDs. The magnet is strong and easily adjustable. My phone has fallen off a couple of times, but it is so infrequent I would not call it a negative of the product. After using it for a couple of months I am happy with the build quality of the phone holder even though it might damage your CD player.
