Installed on a 2004 F150 Lariat 4x4, 5.4, 3V (@180k miles): I did the full cam phaser - timing component job and replaced the oil pump at the same time. The M340HV pump fit perfectly and solved all oil pressure issues! My engine had obliterated its chain guides and ate 2 holes in the timing cover from the chain slap. It was a MESS inside. So if your Triton is tapping - Don't be a dummy like me and put it off. This problem will only get worse! I'm using Motorcraft 5W30 synthetic oil. At idle, I'm getting 70 PSI cold and 25 PSI hot. It also runs about 60 psi down the road. With the considerable damage my engine had, the oil pressure is amazing. My engine still has scored cam journals and probably the crank bearings too, so I didn't expect such great pressure! I would have replaced my engine completely, but I didn't have the money, so I'm hoping this fix will last me until I do. So far so good. I'm using the ratcheting chain tensioners as well as the upgraded rockers that have the smaller oil holes. The new rockers greatly helps the oil pressure up top. If you're already in that far to replace the pump - upgrade those rockers too! VERY happy with this pump! Oh an PS: Watch FordTechMakuloco on Youtube. Works great!!! Fits perfect, provides outstanding oil pressure. Used to replace OE pump in an F150 4.6 3v during a timing job. Essential upgrade to keep the timing and cam components happy in 3v engines. Make sure you pre lube the pump before install.

This fit exactly and is an upgrade from the factory oil pump. My oil pressure has increased. I recommend this item.

Must have for 5.4L triton if you care about it HV pumps always better than stock garbage.

Had to replace my timing chains on my 2005 f-150 5.4 ....might as well put in a good high volume pump for the next 100000 KLMS. Seems to work fine will have to install an actual oil gauge in the near future to see what it puts out.

Still awaiting installation, but good brand and good price.
