Catchpole and the Slimehair Saga is a fast moving story about John and Bob's summer holiday which rapidly changes from a casual fishing trip to a complicated historical dark adventure into the supernatural. Twists, turns and cliff hangers all wrapped up ina slightly comedic horror story with friendship and family prevailing. I would sit this in the young adult category which is a huge side step to my usual choice of novel, however a thoroughly enjoyable saga.
