Cute but Flimsy
The pen-cup has a cute design and a nice, wide opening. This is the plus. The minus is: The cup looks solid, almost like ceramic material (photo). But it is just made of plastic. The plastic is not even high quality. So, the cup is very light, and if you put in heavier objects like scissors, it might topple over. Verdict: in terms of real value for an object, I'd say it is a clear disappointment. A cut off plastic bottle has a similar feeling and would serve the purpose, too. Would not buy again.

Cool design
I admit to not having read the description in detail - I thought this was ceramic. It's plastic, but decent quality plastic. It doesn't look cheap or tacky.I use it with pencils, a ruler, and scissors and it doesn't tip over.
