Impressive Volume. Tank-Like Build Quality. Fairly Priced.
It's a good amp for the price charged. The rated (2-Channel) power level seems about right. I use it paired with a 7.1 Marantz pre-amp. It's quite, and runs my JBL - Polk - Bose Front/Surround/Rear speakers with volume to spare. It is quiet when no sound is input. Compared to my last home theater amp, an 11-year-old Outlaw amp, this Nero is a tank. Think the Outlaw weighed close to fifty pounds but this monster is closer to 70. Amazon delivered in in a truck with a power lift (!). I'm running it with balanced connectors instead of RCA jacks. Would buy again.

This amp is a beast!
I've only been running this amp for a couple of weeks, but it has been flawless at very high outputs. I've been running a Marantz Cinema 60 for a couple of years and have burnt the amplifier section up twice now, repaired under warranty. The Cinema 60 is rated at 100w per channel into 2 channels driven, or 70 watts x 7 channels driven. Turn it up to reference levels, 105-108 dB, and the amplifier would shut off from thermal protection. Not so with the HTA 7200. It will easily and cleanly drive my speakers 9 dB higher than the Marantz receiver can. Now I use the Cinema 60 as a pre-amp and let the Nero 7200 do all of the heavy lifting. Speaking of heavy lifting, the Nero 7200 is 64.2 lbs. It is twice as heavy as the Cinema 60 receiver + amplifier. It is truly a beast and the sound quality is no less than when I was using the Cinema 60 + integrated amplifier. Lots of clean power. No perceptible distortion or SNR background noise. No hot chassis or thermal shutdown after 1+ hours of music at high listening levels, just at the verge of perceptible distortion. If this unit can keep pumping out power like this for a few more years, it is truly worth the price tag.

Solid Powerful multichannel amp
I would buy this again. I needed to add more power to my high end speakers. The amp delivers as promised and would do it again. I have installed amps 3 times the price for clients and this a great bargain for what you pay for it. Trigger input works as it should but the 3.5 wire is short so would recommend buying a longer one if you are going to have your receiver turn it on when it powers up. Also make sure you have a solid shelf to put it on as it is a beast and weight is impressive. Would buy it again. Jason

Delivers great sound quality
This amplifier delivers great sound quality, fits perfectly with my Denon AVR-X6700H and polk audio xt speakers. I appreciate its functionality and build quality seems robust. The amplifier is easy to set up, via rca or xlp cables and never gets hot to the touch. Power can be either 120v/220v supply with a flick of a switch. I would just perfer that the item be more affordable I did stretch abit to be able to make this purchase.

Excellent value. Super heavy and Solid
Bought this due to Youthman's youtube channel $799 special code that day. Was on the fence on getting the monoprice 7x200 $1850 amp, but at these prices its hard to beat. Paired this unit with Onkyo RZ50 at$999 so was able to get receiver and amp for same price as just monoprice amp by itself. Sound is clean and strong. Pushing a pair of old school ADS 1590's for right and left and polk lsiM706c for centers and ADS 1290s in rear. Thought the 145 watt per channel vs monoprice 200 watt per channel wouldn't be enough but its good enough for me. Sound details in Ready Player One was phenomenal. Cranked it up loud and still had room to go before I had to turn it down. If your audiophile on a budget definitely i say go for this power amp.
