I love the designs in this set! That being said it comes with one hoop, but it does fit all 2/4 designs. It does give great instruction for learning, but you may need to improvise a bit for layout. It comes with plenty of embroidery floss!

I bought these for a ladies' crafting session. The colors are good. Although the projects won't be completed in one sitting, they're not so large as to be overwhelming. Good quality kits, include most of needed items... because I gave each lady one project, I had to supplement hoops, needles & snips. Good value. I've begun working CXC009. There are no needles (not a problem for me) and the instructions and stamped pattern do not match. (It's very hard to tell from these pictures!) I'm thankful that one of my beginner friends didn't choose this kit!

I was so excited to receive this kit, but it came without an embroidery hoop. My other ones currently have projects on them, so I was disappointed but didn't want to return the whole item. I contacted the seller (Maydear) via the link amazon provided and emailed them. Their website says that they respond within 24 hours -- it was under 1 hour even late on a weekend. Within 14 hours of emailing them, Maydear delivered a whole new kit with the embroidery hoop via amazon!! On the actual product, there is definitely plenty of embroidery floss. The printed pictures have the listed stitch and each kit shows you how to do that stitch. It even lists what color their strands are compared to the DMC color chart, which is so nice!! I have a decent amount of embroidery kits and none of my prior ones have done that. A lot of the needed stitches are fairly easy ones (one pattern is almost entirely straight stitch), so I would say this is suitable for beginners; however, it's a lot more surface area to cover compared to a similar flower pattern. I haven't completed one yet, but definitely a good product compared to similar ones I've bought.

I love these, but there are some things to know... the hoops they come with are too small, the instructions are filled with spelling errors, the design on the package and the picture of what it is suppose to look like are not exact, and they come with barely enough thread to get the job done. I went to Michael's crafts and bought 8" hoops for like 3 bucks each and some more thread so I could make a few mistakes and not worry about having enough thread, so not a big deal. If you have never done embroidery before the instructions will make it a bit difficult, but if you are resourceful then you will figure it out and the spelling errors aren't so bad that you cant read it. Other than that this product was WONDERFUL!! I would buy them again, but I've done embroidery before.

Don’t buy!!! So many poorly done things, but worst of all is that there are NO instructions for the harder stitches. It shows a French knot, back stitch, and straight stitch. Those are all easy. The pics of this product show the paper guide full of instructions. The printed pattern on the fabric does not align with the paper guide, the hoop is too small so I used one I already had, and the thread colors are vastly different which makes the false pattern even harder to follow. I gave up on one, which I’ve never done and want to stop on another but also don’t want to give up. I wish I had never bought this. I’m frustrated every time I get it out to work on it. Zero stars if that were possible.

I think it has somewhat easy instructions. I tend to go to a YouTube video to see how to do a stitch. It was enjoyable and everyone that's seen it cant believe a professional didn't do it. It's for my granddaughter. I can't wait to give it to her.
