A great analogue phone exchange for small/medium offices/large homes. Easy to install with standard 2wire lines. you need master-socket ends for each extension. Can take up to 4 external lines. programming is a little fiddly, but once set up it is quite reliable. You may want to add surge protection on incoming lines and the power, and run from a ups to protect the device.You use normal handsets with this system, you don't have to buy special digital ones, although you can use enhanced analogue ones, all you really need is tone-dialling and a ELR (earth loop recall) recall button, which pretty much all modern phones have.

This telephone system does not appear to have all the bells and whistles of rather more expensive alternatives, nor to be so robust to electrical assault, but is easy to install and a wonderful specification for the price. It is on its own. Amazon appears to offer the best price as well.
