ARM601-3 3/8” (3.7 to 37 ft-lbs.) Digital Torque Wrench with Buzzer and LED Flash Notification – ISO 6789 Standards with Certificate of Calibration

It's easy to find wrenches with low max torque range or high max torque range. But "somewhere in between" was way more difficult than I thought? For me, the range of this wrench ACCURATELY provides meant I didn't have to buy TWO different wrenches ... nice! I have a 20-150 ft-lb wrench for larger stuff, but for small-mid size fasteners (as typically found on cars and motorcycles) I wanted a wrench ACCURATE at the lower end of the torque spectrum which the 20-100+ ft-lb wrenches are NOT (read those calibration specs carefully, they all have caveats about their accuracy at the lower end of their range!) Using the larger wrenches at the low end of their range (unless you have a high-end expensive model) is inviting disaster on smaller critical fasteners. So not worth it for me. This wrench came with a calibration certification with my wrench's serial number on it and accuracy was more than acceptable for my use. It comes with a nice sturdy plastic case. Requires 4 AAA batteries which didn't come with it. Has a couple of neat features I may or may not use like "Trace"mode" which shows real-time torque as you tighten. It's constructed, feels and handles like a top quality tool. How long it lasts and remains trouble free electronically remains to be seen ... but for now 5 stars.

Excellent torque wretch for us that over tighten things ! Easy to use, nice size and torquing tasks on your projects now are a breeze.

It works well and you can trust it to be accurate. The directions are written in Chinese English so you have to really concentrate to understand them.

Its a really nice wrench. It can be daunting and confusing at first, the directions are crap and the readout isnt as crisp as I hoped BUT it does work and is a fair price.

I have often needed to torque something to specifications and did not own a torque wrench that could torque as low as required. Problem solved now. I love the sound that alerts you that you are approaching and then meets the number specified. I will be getting the high torque wrench soon, I hope. I have wanted one of these ever since seeing one on a YouTube video. My Prius now has every nut and bolt I had to take off and reinstall, as well as the spark plugs and coil packs torqued to specifications. And that baby now purrs like a kitten!!!

Really enjoying this tool so far, 3 differnt units to toggle, a peak mode give you max torque it hit and a trace mode is nice for live reading, touch an existing tight bolt and trace will show the torque it's at as it starts to budge. Flashing light looks a bit crappy, like a old school bulb LED and they were a bit tight not including batteries, I'd prefer add $2 to the cost and throw in the batteries for convenience, luckily I had some as I only opened the tool when I needed it. I bought this for the mid range vales and I love the size of this over my 20" wrench. Over all love it so far, using it to rebuild a Kubota engine. I'll update if it doesn't keep working so well.

It does exactly what it is designed to do at a much lower cost than similar wrench from Snap-On. The range of torque also makes it one of a kind, as typically other digital torque wrenches go to a maximum of 20 ft/lb (27Nm). I noticed one of the reviewers mentioned that it can't be set down to 2 ft/lb (24 inch-pound) as it seemed to indicate and that minimum settable limit is 3.7 ft/lb (5Nm). This is true but only for the warning when you're reaching the set limit, and there is a good reason for it. While you can measure the torque (and see the values on the LCD screen) from 2 ft/lb(3Nm) as advertised, there has to be some torque applied first before you can be warned that you're reaching the limit. This is why the warning values that can be set are a bit higher than the minimum that can be measured. I did not find this a problem at all, as big majority of bolts on cars would need to be torqued at over 3.7ft/lb anyway. Another review I'd like to comment on was related to not being able to see the display in tight to reach places. This is true for all of the devices of this kind, including Snap-On. This is where the audible signal and peak mode come handy. Try few fasteners as a practice to get used to the progression of the alarm sound, and you'll be fine afterwards. The unit is solidly built, and I hope to get many years of use from it.

UPDATE: Figured the first issue was an anomaly, and I was in the middle of my Harley build, so I ordered another one - IT DID THE SAME EXACT THING!!! Luckily, I was within the return window still on this one and it is headed back! There seems to be an issue when you continuously use the clear function on the max torque feature. I would advise that you don’t use this feature. The manufacture must know about this defect as lightning, striking twice is not plausible, yet they continue to send these out with this seemingly software glitch. I will post a video. Went slightly over the 30 day mark before first using those torque wrench on rebuilding my Harley. It worked perfectly at first for part of an afternoon and then when it shut down automatically it would not turn back on. I tried everything to correct the situation with new batteries, etc. but nothing works. I contacted tech-support at AC Delco and I have to send the thing in on my dime to get it repaired. I’m very disappointed in this product. It was not worth the money.
