Solid battery 🔋🔥
Honestly this battery works really good 😅 it holds a charge well and lasts longer than I expected. Fits perfectly and powers my tools with no issues. I’ve been using it consistently and it’s been reliable so far. For the price, it’s definitely worth it 👌

Great Value!
GR8 option for over priced Makita brand batteries. Bought last year, worked out fine so I just bought six more to upgrade my old/original 3Mah Makita batteries that were 10+ years old.

High end charger
Great charger and battery, too bad it didn't come with the drill which was expensive as hell

Good batteries good price they worked for me
Obvious skepticism out of the way, yes they are not authentic makita branded batteries. Tldr: 9/11 works great, does not compete with authentic 6ah battery run times. That being said, for the price you do receive (in my experience) 100% compatible working batteries for the makita 18v system. I have tried them on all ~12 of my makita tools (as well as one made in China off brand heat gun) and all have ran at max power with no real indication that it's not a high quality battery. No issues charging on multiple makita branded chargers. Build quality at least by feel is spectacular, very solid robust case. Would recommend this product looking for good working quality (unbranded) makita battery. More so for light duty or home or enthusiast work. Cons: Light duty>heavy duty "6ah" will not last long in hard heavy use 3 bar gauge instead of a 4 bar, nit picky but thats my preference Only available in a 6 or 8 ah model, smaller amp hours and smaller battieres would be nice for certain tools

Hold their charge
These batteries work and hold their charge. I have bought other off brand batteries that were horrible. In fact, these batteries replaced them. I will buy again.

More false advertisement
The overall quality of these batteries seems to be pretty good. They have no issues sliding in and out of Makita tools, and they don’t feel like some of the other aftermarket batteries that are made out of cheap plastic. They seem to work as well in my tools as my original Makita batteries. HOWEVER, the 6Ah capacity is false. I did two capacity tests on these batteries. The first test I ran at 0.2C of advertised capacity (1.2A) and both batteries cut off at 3.75 and 3.78 Ah. A ran a second test assuming 4Ah capacity, also at 0.2C (800mA), and both cut off just shy of 4Ah. In my opinion, these are 4Ah batteries, not 6Ah. I have no problem buying two nice 4Ah batteries at the price point these were set to at time of purchase (around f if ty bux) but I am quite annoyed that they advertise them at a significantly higher capacity than they actually are. I am going to put them to use in the field and I will update this review if there are any issues.

Modern battery with accurate safety claims, but no waterproofing whatsoever.
For the price, this battery (BL1860B compatible) is very good. The main downside is that the BMS is not protected against water. I've opened the battery and I've added a layer of conformal coating (a varnish) on top of it, and now it's all good. Other than that, the BMS looks very modern. There is a sensor for temperature, a pair of mosfets to cut current and shunt resistors than allows the BMS to monitor it. So protections that are claimed are actually implemented. I didn't see any obvious circuitry for cell balancing, but I would be surprised if it wasn't there, considering everything else that is already present. The battery charges up to 21.75V (4.15V per cell). It discharged to 17.5V (3.5V per cell) before it cut off (with a somewhat high current draw). Those are very conservative numbers. I wonder if it is done to be able to use very cheap cells that would be dangerous otherwise, or just to provide a margin of safety and more longevity. Anyway, I appreciate that. I don't know if the claimed capacity is real, I have not measured it. It was absolutely fine for my use case. It is probably the capacity one would get if the cells were used over their full voltage range. It might not be what you get in practice with the conservative cut-offs that are in place. I am very happy with them so far.
