Great chalk board!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and appearance of this product! Our goal was to find a magnetic chalk board that reflected the homie, family friendly, farm-like community of our campground, and a size that covered the majority of our camp store door to provide information for our customers. It has met all of our goals! The “boards” that frame the chalkboard have a very realistic textured look with attractive hues of brown and gray. The contrast with the black board is attractive and eye catching. The size was perfect to mount on the store door; it attached easily to the metal door and is lightweight. So far, it has been durable in the heat and sunshine of an outside door which is protected by a storm door. We have used chalk and liquid chalk markers on it. Both have wiped clean with a paper towel and water without leaving shadowing on the board. We have also used strong magnets and magnetic clips to hold plastic pockets with information. Most plastic pockets require 2 magnets, and have held up to frequent use, some wind, and high foot traffic passing by. The value for the money paid for the chalkboard is good as it has met all of our goals and uses. Definitely sturdy, well made, and has been able to hold up to lots of use.

The frame is a little light and a little smelly. Think At Home Store fragrance. It's also more of a white wash than white. We bought two before we noticed. I used zbars to hang them since it's difficult to get the holes lined up just right.

This is fun! Kids art, post cards, random photos, magnets from vacations- works for just about anything and the quality is exceptional. Very happy with this purchase!
