Purchased as a gift. Recipient had always done counted cross stitch, but loves this kit as it is colored coded, no counting. Goes much faster and less tedious. Everything was included, and having the right thread, saved money and a trip to the store.

Ordered this for my next project and can't wait to start! In the meantime, I loved the easy of opening to starting in the way it's packaged.

I have purchased and completed hundreds of cross stitch patterns on Amazon. This is the first one that looks NOTHING like the picture on the kit. It's so disappointing. It was easy to do (it took me 6 weeks from start to finish), but the end result is sad. The floss colors don't match the pattern (beige instead of yellow?!) & it is zoomed in so close, it's hard to tell it's a tree. If you want your finished product to be a garbled mess, buy it. If you want it to look like the picture on the kit, stay away!

I just received this beautiful kit, and I am thrilled. I love the beach and I love eagles. This particular kit has both.It appears to have plenty of thread, and they are on numbered paper bobbins.The colors printed on the cloth and the pattern do not match the colors to be stitched. This is good because if you have two greens, for example, next to each other using two different colors does make it easier to tell where you are changing. However, the colors used are GARISH and hurt my eyes in no time flat. I'll be super glad when I'm finished, and I can iron away the pattern and be left with nothing but my beautiful scene.
