Nice compact light to use under (or above) water with your action camera. It will be great for those close in shots underwater. Will light up subject in any room. Color adjusting lens will take some experimentation to see the effect as there are no instructions. Seems as though it was a good buy.

Works amazing on my GoPro. Wish I had gotten this sooner. I just wish the 2 mounts were the same. One mount uses a plate and not a clip. There is no where to get a replacement if it breaks. I may get a light with the 2 mounts that use the GoPro clip in mounts.

Battery not being replaceable was a big negative for me. Yes they have a fancy waterproof access door but that's JUST to get at the USB charging port. Most other action cam lights let you replace the battery or carry a spare for longer shoot times. It's definitely bright but it's also a bit on the heavy side. I returned this for one with a removable battery. As to the included filters, meh. I can't see throwing a dark warming filter on underwater shots. Just adjust the color in post.

Here are is one set of photos for mounting an AKASO Waterproof Video light on AKASO EK7000 underwater housing with am added flotation handle grip. Instructions not available from AKASO Chat (non responsive after 30 min wait) nor could I find a video online. I have not used underwater yet but reviews of light quality reviews are positive. Can’t wait to use it!

(Purchased 2 for the top of my camera rig) Broke on the second dive 53 feet deep. The first dive the lights were great until half way through the second dive, one of the lights would not turn off. After several minutes of pushing the button it finally turned off. After the dive when I was back on the boat it turned itself back on, and stayed on until it died completely.

It's a likeable design, and worked fine on my first dive with it. Unfortunately, a bit of saltwater passed around the seal for the pushbutton, and was enough to destroy the electronics.
