Lightweight and durable
This pretty little light is very useful for a quick dive. It's actually pink, not red but it's a beautiful color. It's very lightweight so it's easy to hold or attach to your BCD. I didn't keep it on for my entire dive but I did a 2-hour dive and the battery was not depleted by the end of the dive. It's a nice sturdy light so it seems very durable. The beam is focused and bright for such a small light. It's so lightweight that I plan to get a few to give to divemasters when I drive around the world. I think it would make an excellent tip. It comes with two rechargeable batteries and a charging cradle which is super convenient. You can charge One battery while you're using the other and then keep swapping between dives.

Excellent Dive Light!
I purchased this light as it seemed smaller in size than some of the bigger bulky, hand held lights that are available. I was also curious of the quality for such a good price. I was hoping it would be useful in searching for Megalodon teeth on this past weekendโs trip or when looking around the reef edge while pleasure diving. When I received the WD12 I was pleasantly surprised that it was exactly as advertised and worth every penny and more. It fits very comfortably in your hand and has a well placed on/off switch that doesnโt require adjusting how you hold the light to turn it on and off. The switch is also recessed into the lightโs body so it was easy to find without having to constantly look for it. The light has a super bright setting and a dimmer setting by simply pressing the button. It also has a strobe feature for getting your buddies attention if you hold the button in for a few seconds. This feature is accessible from either the bright or dim modes but not from an off position. The light comes with not one but two 18650 3000 mAh batteries and a charger. Not sure how long the light will last but my wife and I used it for two dives on a single battery (approximately 90 min but we did turn on and off at times). The power switch has an led indicator ring that I assume shows green, yellow, and red, but mine is still showing green! The light is sealed with dual o-rings (extra set provided) so not worried about it flooding, and has a wrist strap with a clip so you can easily hang it on a D-ring from your BC (which is what I did). Despite having decent visibility and a bright sun overhead in 30 feet of water the WD12 did an awesome job of making the fossilized sharks teeth really pop in the sand! I highly recommend this light as I will definitely be purchasing a few more for my wife and daughter. Video of the dive and some photos showing the light in my pool below.

A great dive light!!!
What a great dive light! The size and weight are handy to always bring it with you (without issue), the output in power and beam are great, and the quality of the construction is/feels top notch! For the money (or any money) I could not be happier! I think I will be giving these as presents to my dive buddies! It included the charger, two batteries, spare O-rings, and had a nice lanyard installed on it. The packaging was also nice. I have three other dive lights by big name companies in the same lumen range as the Odepro WD12 (the three I own are rated at 1200 lumens, the WD12 is 1050 lumens), but the WD12 is the smallest form factor of the lot (see pictures for size/scale). The first thing I did was to charge one of the two provided batteries with the provided charger. The charger is nice, it is a single cell charger and the LED indicates red when charging and green when the cycle has completed. I works great, feels well made, very comparable to the other chargers that I have received with much more expensive dive lights. Once the first battery was fully charged, I did a head to head test by comparing the light against a wall against the 1200 lumen lights that I own (short test so I wouldnโt damage the lights by running them out of the water). It definitely puts out about the same amount of light as the other lights, and the beam is very nice (a decent spot/flood type beam so a center weighted beam that still gives you some flood (very nice for diving to not have a laser like flood)). The color temperature is also not as white/blue as most lights, which should help in lower visibility water. So, the rated output seems absolutely legit. After the quick brightness and beam test, I filled up a large container of cool water and did a test of the 2-hour run-time on the high setting. I did this test immediately after the battery charger signaled โgreenโ and after playing around with it for a little while, but the light still shined at the 2-hour mark. The light output does begin to fall off a bit at the end of the run, which is WAY better than just shutting off (you know when your light is running out of power both by the handy indicator on the switch (which works, green, red, flashing red) and the output dimming a bit). So the rated run-time is also absolutely legit, even when I started with a slightly used battery. This thing will easily outlast your air on night dives, or days of โas neededโ usage during the day. With the extra battery, you probably donโt need to charge very often. Conclusion: This little light packs a big light punch in a tiny package. I am very happy with it, and I cannot wait to dive with it! I will update this review after testing it in the field. ***Update 6/2020; I have used this on a bunch of dives, including a couple 100โ dives without issue. It is a great light. I will update if any issues arise, but I am very happy with this unit.
