Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix, 16 qt. (2-Pack)

The potting soil is effective and comes in bags that are much easier to carry and use than most bags of this soil. It contains a good combination of soil nutrients and the moisture retention features prevents dried out pots of soil.

Really helped out my vegetable garden in the heat wave by helping to keep moisture in the pots.

This planting soil was veey good quality. I put it in an outdoor container and I am growing fragile spring-blooming flowrs in it. It's my first year trying this method. i expect to have success. the soli was rich looking, deep black-brown, soft and easy to work with. perefect for any home gardener.

I have debated using this moisture control mix for several years and I am so glad I did this year-wish I had tried it sooner! It is definitely worth the extra cost, it saves SO much time and watering. We have had drought conditions the past 3 summers, and I had to water daily or every other day. This year, I can go a week or more without having to water all my containers. The only potted plants I have to water daily in these 90+ degree days are the ones I bought that were already planted and obviously the greenhouse did not use this type of mix because they dry out rapidly. I will never use anything else. The added miracle grow fertilizer is a big plus as the plants grew and filled out quickly

I have always used Miracle-Gro potting mix. The Moisture Control really helps in summer because of the moisture beads helping to keep moisture in the soil and more consistently moist. Better than adding moist beads because it works throughout without the mess. At years end, the roots of the plants have been so prolific throughout the entire pot of soil it makes it easy to remove.
