Vansky Air Conditioner Leak Detector: Professional Car Tool 68 LED Automotive AC UV Dye Leak Detection Kit with Protective Glasses

Helped me locate a few engine leaks, one of which was very significant but hard to otherwise pinpoint. Not the brightest and glasses didn't seem to make much difference but they weren't necessary anyway so that's a plus. Flashlight looks to be pretty well constructed. Overall very pleased as it did what I needed it to do to fix my oil leak issues.

Perfectly highlights the Uzv dye even without the glasses.

The light and glasses are well made and easy to use in general. No issues there. The glasses seem to cut out UV because the purple light looks like a warm yellow when using the yellow glasses. Whether that means the UV is cut out, not sure. Would need a spectrometer to confirm that. I think the UV light is way to strong to use under an engine bay. Might be better to use a 12 or 21 LED light for oil leak hunting. Having the light bounce back from the engine with your face 1 foot away is not ideal and I am guessing stray light came from the sides. I feel like my eyes are still a bit worn out from the oil leak hunting session. Was using the light for about 10-15 minutes total over 1 hour. The light seems to shine about 15-20 feet away no problem.

Worked exactly as expected! The protective eye wear was definitely appreciated and the uv light helped me spot my leak immediately.

Ça ma permis de trouver la fuite de mon air climatisé de voiture, javais mis une canne de freon avec le liquide pour dedans, comme vous pouvez voir sur les photos ont le vois parfaitement avec l'uv et les lunettes. Ça coûte beaucoup moins cher qu'au garage pour trouver la fuite et a fonctionner a merveille!!

Great product

I like the light, very bright. The Led protective lens is plastic and melted with brake clean overspray while cleaning shrader valves. The lens is now cloudy reducing clarity of the light.
