Recently had to swap out a steering column for an aftermarket tilt column that had a different type configuration. The stock on was splined and the new on was double D type. Used this lower column shaft to adapt the new column to match the stock power steering unit. After drilling out the welds to shorten the intermediate shaft to fit, it bolted right in. Great product!

This Steering shaft replace my old rag joint set up on my 90 Chevrolet c1500. I had to drill out the spot welds and heat it up to slide and fit . The length its at will not fit I recommend putting grease inside the shaft after u spilt them so it has some movement in case of a front end accident . Other than that really responsive steering no mor play.
