I bought one years ago. It works great. So much so that when my son's laptop WiFi was acting up, he took my adapter. So I bought another one. It was fine but then cut out a bit. I contacted Nineplus and got excellent help from Lynn. She followed up with me several times when I wasn't available to run tests with her at the time. She did all she could and decided to send me a new one free of charge. I appreciate Lynn's dedication to helping me and making sure I was back in working order.

I ordered this for a laptop that had an old modem that worked slowly. The computer runs on Windows 11, and this adapter worked right after it was plugged in. It is very fast, handles multiple devices at once, and did I mention it is WiFi6 compatible? Overall, this is a plug-and-play device as long as the device isn't too old. I am super happy with this purchase.

I installed this on my Windows 11 desktop. This adapter should be plug and play, but it took some fiddling to get working. I ran into what is apparently a common problem, that the wifi connection constantly flickered up/down, every 20 seconds or so. This is apparently common enough that the adapter's documentation specifically gives a bunch of support contact information, and even offers a fast replacement service. I contacted support (worked with Lynn), and they were responsive. The "solution", though it strikes me as a bit of a hack, was simply to move the adapter to a USB plug on the other side of the desktop machine. Very strange. But since then it has been working well.

I’m not gonna lie when I tried it out on my laptop. It worked stupendously well, and my Internet was so much faster than before. When I even played one of my favorite games stronghold the Internet was so faster and made the game go faster instead of slow or lagging hats off

SSH sessions would disconnect, network latency would spike unpredictably, and remote administration of several Raspberry Pi systems became an ongoing exercise in frustration. I spent countless hours diagnosing routers, switches, operating systems, network configurations, drivers, VPN software, and remote-access tools.After extensive testing, I finally isolated the issue to your adapter.The symptoms were severe and intermittent enough to mislead troubleshooting efforts. Network latency would jump from a few milliseconds to well over 200 milliseconds without warning. Remote sessions would freeze or disconnect. Because the problem was inconsistent, it appeared to be caused by routers, operating systems, or network configuration errors rather than by the adapter itself.The final test was simple: I removed the Nineplus adapter and immediately saw network latency return to normal. Ping times to my router stabilized at 2–5 ms with no significant spikes. The network problems that had consumed an extraordinary amount of time simply disappeared.What is most frustrating is not merely that the adapter appears defective, but that it wasted an enormous amount of my time. I spent well over a year investigating issues that were ultimately traced back to a product that should have provided reliable network connectivity from the start.A network adapter has one job: provide a stable network connection. I would like to preface this with the fact that I've only had this a few days, but in those few days it has been amazing. I have an older computer that doesn't work with 5G. I was forced to change my modem to a 5G modem by Xfinity. They divided it up into 5G and 2.4. This computer (which I love) had to use 2.4 and it was worse than when I had dial-up. (Yes, I'm that old.) Anyway, for me it was not plug and play. I did have to go to the website and download the driver. But their instructions are so detailed and so good. I mean they really go into every circumstance that could happen and tell you how to deal with it. Before, I was lucky to get 35 MBps. Now, look at the speed test results I get. Over 200 MBps. So far I am thrilled with this!It is now June 21, 2024 and I am sad to report that this gadget no longer works. I turned on my computer today and it was no longer working. I was so happy how well this worked, but if it only works for a couple of months it is not worth buying. My advice, try another adapter. This one does not work for long and it is not worth paying anything for a device that only works for a month or two.

It worked well. We got a new Wifi (fiber optic to the house) and my old computer would not recognize the wifi. I had to get a USB wifi adapter that was more current and it worked perfectly.

I’ve got it going about 40ft and through 2 walls to my router and my wifi is still decent. Though it doesn’t improve my wifi speeds for gaming at all, my wifi is normally terrible and with this my connection is still terrible but cordless. I expect if I had good wifi, that the adapter would have the same quality wifi.

I have not yet upgraded my router, but even with a WiFi 5 router this thing is reliable and fast on Windows 11. Drivers easy to install as well. No complaints.

I was able to use this for my desktop PC to get wireless connection to my router and the speed was reliable and fast. So far there is no drop off so I can comfortably game with this adapter, it was also easy to set up as it has 5ghz and 2.4ghz, both frequency range were available in my modem.

Good replacement for the built in laptop wifi card that failed. However setup required a bit of trial and error and not plug and play setup. None of my computers recognized the dongle when inserted into the USB-A ports (tried them all and even rebooted). This made it harder to obtain the install software on the key. Fortunately the instructions had a link to the manufacturer website which I used to download from another computer to a USB key then moved to the laptop for install.

It was super easy to set up, and my connection has been fast and stable ever since. It really improved my streaming and online gaming experience. Plus, its small size doesn’t block other USB ports, which is a nice bonus. Highly recommend it!
