Mold
It had mold on some of them. I opened the guajillo chiles for birria and they had mold on them.

Very high quality
I used these in a Mole sauce. They are beautiful peppers: clean well dried, but not too dry. The peppers should still be a little flexible and leathery, and these were perfect. The Arbol peppers are quite hot, so I used fewer of them and more Guajillo. It was a project, but well worth the effort. Study the many recipes and videos out there, pick one and go for it. I loved the process and everyone loved the results.

Good quality
These are excellent! It’s hard to find these chilis at my local grocery store and I don’t like to make extra trip to speciality store for just one or two items.
