Made our dogs seriously happy and scratch free!
Made my dogs happy! Their persistent scratching and skin twitching stopped after the first use. Killed fleas, ticks, and some type of mites. It smells good and did not irritate their skin. It truly made them Happy Jacks! It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. My dogs had no sensitivity to it and seemed happy every time we treat them with it.

100% YES!! YOU WANT THIS ONE!
So, we have 5 beagles and 1 small older chihuahua that for months have ben incessantly scratching. We haven't seen any fleas and 3 of them have on the seresto collars and still are incessantly scratching. We haven't seen any fleas on any of the dogs or in our house. I've given them baths with a chlorhexidine/ ketaconazol shampoo because they have scratched and chewed so much they have made bald spots and sores on themselves. I've tried washing with flea shampoo even tho we haven't seen one flea the vet said sometimes you don't see them which made no sense but it's whatever. We have tried a tar and Sulfur shampoo and even just a regular 5 in one shampoo and NOTHING has helped. So I was like well, maybe it's an allergy to grass or the laundry detergent I'm using, maybe it's mites we can't see, I was going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong and trying to help them because It was making me miserable and I know they were misread because they could barely sleep because of the scratching and chewing. So, I decided to look for a flea dip here on Amazon, I read reviews religiously and ran across happy Jack's flea dip and the reviews didn't disappoint. Just got it yesterday, 9/26/23 and mixed 1oz with 2 gallons of water per directions and mixed it in a very large pot. I was told by the vet to wash them with a regular shampoo first and rinse them well because them being wet/damp first is best and then either use a sponge, rag or pour it over the dogs making sure to NOT get it in their eyes or ears. We used a thick sponge on the hard to reach places that pouring couldnt reach and also poured it over them, one by one in our tub all while lightly scratching and rubbing the liquid while being poured over them starting at the neck, working down the back slowly to the tail, working the liquid into the hair to get to the skin. I made sure to really soak them with it too. It says not to rinse them or dry them and to leave it on them but the vet said it was ok to take a towel and lightly pat them so they arent dripping too much and then let them go. Within 30 mins after they all were done, having the dip done, there was zero scratching and chewing and the rest of the night was quiet, still, no scratching, chewing and the next morning it was still all quiet with them. This stuff works!! Was it fleas? Mites? Chiggers from grass? I don't know what exactly was going on with all the dogs with the scratching and chewing but whatever it was, it is no more! It's now 9:45am and they are all sleeping soundly. Thank you Happy Jack, you have saved mine and my dogs sanity lol

Not for Home Use
Because I have used flea traps before - I suggest that this size flea trap is for barn use. I still have one older flea trap in my home - the size is 6 inches wide 2 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches long and it has a grid over the sticky part so fingers don't get stuck on it, and it caught fleas, gnats, small spiders, and an occasional earwig brought in from the garden. I wanted to buy another just like my old one but I didn't see it on Amazon. The HappyJack flea trap is: one foot long, 8 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall.. It is too noticeable to hide. I have my old one in the dining room next to a pet bed and it is not very noticeable. all the others on Amazon looked too large. The Happyjack Flea Beacon is remarkably flimsy. The pegs and holes on one side simply would not go together so I finally cut off the "pegs" and taped that side together. I got it together and put it in my bedroom between a book case and a corner wall . It will be interesting to see what it catches. - I wanted to put it under my bed where the dogs sleep but the dogs might get attached to it! (joke) The sticky papers that come with it are very hard to separate and I got glue all over my hands trying to do this. I know it can be done better because I had no problem with the sticky papers that came with my older flea trap. If you have toddlers running around you wouldn't want them to try to handle this out of curiosity, because the sticky part is just too sticky and there is no grid covering it. Secondly it is too obtrusive - it is very large and noticeable. My dogs are very tiny and their heads can actually fit inside the Happy Jack flea trap. It is also very noticeable because of the colorful label on the top and you don't want flea traps to be so noticeable in your home. The one good thing about this is: The sticky papers that are used for this flea trap can be cut in half and used in my older, better trap!!!!

Not long lasting.
Used it on 5 different dogs. It killed some fleas at first but did not last long. I did reapply with same outcome.
