Way Better Than I Expected This little adapter works so well. The connection is solid, no weird cutting in and out, and the sound is super clear—even on calls. Setup took maybe 10 seconds, and it instantly made my old car stereo feel brand new again. If you want easy Bluetooth without replacing your whole system, this is it.

Got this for my daughter’s college computer car. A Camry from 2011 that oddly didn’t have Bluetooth. We had the AUX kit and wired music worked. But she used to choose between power or Aux as one plays only at a time. Soooo… for the price of a splitter adapter (power + Aux) I decided to go another way. My daughter loves how this device works. She says it’s reliable and not BT-fussy as some devices can be. She gets in, powers up and it “Just Works” without hiccup. For her car we did the following: - bought this Bluetooth device - bought a quality Dual Port 12V power adapter. - power to phone - power to Bluetoothdevice - the BT device audio cord plugs in Camry’s AUX port. - mounted the BT device on the cubby door using the double sided tape supplied with device. My daughter and I love this device’s rotating LEDs, such bright red green blue colors. It’s happy. If the spinning rainbow-like happy colors bother you, and you think ill of such things, then in my best Foghorn Leghorn impression, “Well, I say, I say, ‘Bless your little heart!’ You just move along now.”

For streaming audio, this adapter is fantastic. It connects to my phone every time without any issues, and the sound quality is excellent. The build feels solid and well made. The only downside is the microphone. No one can really hear or understand me during calls, so whatever noise it is supposed to cancel, it doesn’t do a great job. The light is also very bright and a bit distracting, but thankfully you can turn it off. Overall, it’s a solid four-star product and worth the price if you mainly want it for music.

I've owned this for over a year and it has been fantastic. Easily the best option in this category. No fussing with rechargeable versions that stick out of your console, the easily accessible controls are responsive and most importantly can be used without looking. Solid build quality with a nice braided cable. The microphone quality is good for hands-free calling, and the playback quality is excellent. The Bluetooth range is also very impressive, my phone frequently stays connected even when going into stores or home. I wanted it to be removeable/repositionable so I didn't use the included adhesive and instead opted for 3M Dual-Lock which has worked great.

High-quality sound with auto-connect at vehicle startup. I have not had any issues with this product over the past year I have been using it. Works quite well and is much better than the built-in Bluetooth on my 2010 Acura.

Much easier and cheaper option than replacing the radio in the car to have Bluetooth music/audio. Everything worked as it said it would, connection is easy and reliable, and the audio is clear and with no noticeable delay. Also loved that this one came with its own mounting tape to make it even easier to put in the car without it flopping all over.

Very surprised at how well this works. Was not sure I was going to be able to listen to Music from my phone in my older truck with an old line in and no USB plug. This works exactly as I needed. I did need a cigarette adapter for the USB conversion. But like I said older truck. Easy to set up and use. Music is clear and no static or feedback

Update: the replacement for the original defective device was even worse that the original. What a complete waste of time. The second of these I received has no audio out, period. It doesn't produce any of the voice prompts for pairing, connected, etc. and doesn't output audio from a paired device. The first one had regular periodic dropouts in the audio from a connected phone/whatever, but this does absolutely nothing. Devices can see it and can pair with it, but it generates no sound. I have no idea what ugreen is playing at these days with their quality control, but this is absolutely not what I've come to expect from them; their stuff is usually better than this. --- I don't know if the one I got is just knackered, but this is far worse than the old doodad it was intended to replace. Once paired, audio from my phone is interrupted for a fraction of a second every couple of seconds, and this happens endlessly. I've had an equivalent no-name dongle for my massively outdated car for about 5 years. Its power cable god crunched recently, and it loses power if the cable is bumped. This ugreen device was on sale over black friday, so I figured I'd give it a go. The phone pairs to it as expected for an audio device. However, playing music from any app results in the same behaviour where the audio keeps getting interrupted every couple of seconds. This happens endlessly regardless of the app producing sound, and makes the device unusable. This happens regardless of distance between the phone and the "head" of the device. I expect to be able to use this with about a foot and a half or so between the phone and the head with no obstructions, but this happens regardless of distance, tested at various gaps of a few feet down to a few inches. The same thing happens at home when tested using a USB wall wart and my set of computer speakers, so it's nothing to do with the car environment. It's a shame, because ugreen makes my go-to USB-C cable (the ones with the handy right-angle connector on one end) and we have several of their chargers. They usually make good stuff, but this is just broken. Returning for a replacement to see if this is a one-off, review will be updated depending on how the replacement performs.

Ich nutze den UGREEN Bluetooth 5.4 Adapter nun seit einigen Wochen im Auto und bin absolut begeistert. Die Einrichtung war kinderleicht: einfach in den AUX-Anschluss stecken, mit dem Handy koppeln und sofort loslegen. Die Verbindung ist stabil, ohne Aussetzer, und der Klang ist klar und kräftig – sowohl bei Musik als auch bei Telefonaten. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Multifunktionstaste: Damit kann ich Anrufe annehmen, auflegen, Musik starten oder pausieren, ohne das Handy in die Hand nehmen zu müssen. Die Freisprechfunktion funktioniert einwandfrei, mein Gesprächspartner versteht mich deutlich, und auch ich höre alles klar. Ein weiteres Plus ist die Dualverbindung – ich kann gleichzeitig zwei Geräte koppeln, zum Beispiel mein Smartphone und das meiner Partnerin, und bequem zwischen beiden wechseln. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig, und das kompakte Design stört überhaupt nicht im Fahrzeug. Für mich ist dieser Adapter die perfekte Lösung, um ältere Autoradios oder Lautsprecher kabellos zu machen. Preis-Leistung ist hier wirklich top – klare 5 Sterne und eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung!

È sufficiente avere un'autoradio con ingresso AUX e una porta USB per l'alimentazione, oppure la presa dell'accendisigari con l'adattatore; così, ho trasformato la mia Opel Corsa di 14 anni in un'auto quasi moderna 😊. Buono il vivavoce, ovviamente senza rubrica nè comandi vocali, ottima la trasmissione bluetooth audio da Spotify che consente la riproduzione lossless. Piccolo ed esteticamente gradevole, si può trovare facilmente posto sul cruscotto. Per quanto riguarda longevità e affidabilità, staremo a vedere...

Highly recommended for those who dont have a deck with a screen. I used to have to plug in my phone to listen to music in my car. I also had to use my phone screen to pause or change the song. This was super annoying, particularly because I use a phone wallet and would need to unplug/replug my phone every time i went into a store. Now i just jump in the car and turn my keys, and the bluetooth connects within 5 seconds. I mounted the little controller next to my gear shift, so it is super easy to pause and change songs without taking my eyes off the road. The sound quality is good, and it was easy to set up. It initially played a whining sound through my speakers when there was no song playing, but I figured out that it was due to the USB plug I was using to power it. I tried a different USB power adapter in the cigarette lighter port of my car, and that solved the issue. Overall, I have been super happy with it and would recommend to anyone who is plugging their phone in manually to listen to music.
