The Forcebucket Softballs 12 Pcs Yellow Dimpled Softballs came in a nice box, individually wrapped.These softball mimics - regulation size, but with dimples - were manufactured for use in an automatic pitching machine and as such are dimpled to prevent curve balls, that is, to insure no ball English within the pitching area or batting cage. A quick test insured this was the case. That said, I bought these as pitch balls for my son's dog - who can destroy even the hardiest of toys in mere hours. Well, not these - I have a dozen and she is still working on the first one. She finds gripping the thing hard to do and endlessly diverting, so a win win! The softball team coach was happy to hear she would be getting these when I can gift them (hence the test I outline above) and she, too, is impressed with these.The Forcebucket balls offer excellent value for money. These are really nice pitching machine balls. They are pretty Sting free, Fly true and are very durable. I got this set to use for batting practice for my daughters 12U & 14U team. Our nice leather game balls were just getting crushed and chewed up so I thought these would be a great alternative to use at the hitting stations instead. These do also work great in our Jugs softball pitching machine - fly straight and true with no sting. They are bright yellow which is perfect for our softballers - what they are used to seeing during games. They fly true - they are game-ball weight and circumference and go thru the machine smoothly with no catching or getting off track making for a wild pitch. We are super happy with them and they girls have a game going with calling out "new ball" before they hit it cause they are so much brighter yellow than the old balls. Great for hand-eye coordination.

These fit in the pitching machine and are great for practice when you don't want to ruin good balls.
