Is this a mini sponge?

No it’s quite big and so is the case that comes with it. I wanted it for travel but found it’s just too bulky for me.

why is this case pink in some pics and orange in others?

Both are available but I think pink is out of stock & send only the yellow one.

Do these sponges use up a lot of foundation

No more then any other make up sponge does. It’s a Lovely soft make up sponge. I am quite fussy about the ones I use, some can be too firm and not really modable x keep it damp with a water spray before use.
