My girlfriend has more hair in our carpet than on her head, this is the only way to remove it completely without much effort. It also seems to bring the carpet back to life, and coupled with a Dyson Animal (or similar with brush head) you end up with brand new looking carpets. The bristles are nice and long which works well for hair and is incredibly easy to clean, it also has a squeegee for cleaning high level windows but I cant comment on its effectiveness as I haven't used it. Also works very well on hard flooring, I shave my head with clippers and it sweeps every small hair with ease! Handle is sturdy and is also telescopic if you are tight for storage, this doesnt seem to weaken anything or untwist like some of them do. I'm about as impressed as I can be about a broom, no more cutting hair out of the hoover brush!! EDIT: this broom is branded as Bentley Hallmark and is available from other sellers on Amazon.

This worked absolutely brilliantly, it got up so much dirt and gathered all the hairs out of the carpet. I absolutely adored it. Unfortunately the rubber across the top ripped off after only a few uses and I had to get a refund which is sad because if it had been a little tougher it would have been absolutely perfect.

The brush did not remove cat hairs and would not extend - a fact I did not discover for quite a while, because I had been sitting whilst using it due to back problems. I thought it was a very poor quality product.

Thought this would be great but not long after using it and only on my wooden floor the base of the brush snapped, not repairable as not on the handle it was on the base holding the handle, so, bought Vileda and very pleased with that

Absolutely the best thing since sliced bread. We have 2 dogs and my partner has an allergy to their hairs so l was hoovering every day. We got this broom and the hairs it got off the carpets after a hoover was staggering. I have used it about 3 times a day. Takes a couple of minutes and the carpets look like new. Can't rate it enough. We will be buying several as Christmasgifts for all our pet loving friends.

It is harder that I thout that it would be. I had also hand broom (for sofa) which is from more soft rubber and I might be better for short pile carpets. But this one is still ok, it removed a lot (a lot!) of fur from the carpet that vacuum even with turbo brush was not able to pick up. I am happy that I bought this product.
